Some of our Spring River Home Health team members wore pink today in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕 We wear pink to show our support for those currently fighting breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember those we have lost.

From a tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the field to the lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and hometown pride that bring us together, Salem Schools is about so much more than school — it’s about family, tradition, and community.

We were honored to put together and deliver good luck goodie baskets for Maggie and the boys golf team before they headed to the State Golf Tournament! ⛳️🏌️

It was a small way to show our support for all the hard work, dedication, and commitment they put into their season. We are proud of everyone for representing our community at the state level and wish them nothing but success in their future endeavors.

This month, we’re encouraging everyone to know the signs, understand your risk, and take action.

Join us as we celebrate survivors, honor those who continue to fight, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside every individual and family affected by breast cancer. 💕

We had a great time visiting with our local junior livestock exhibitors at the Northeast Arkansas District Fair and handing out a few Spring River Home Health & Therapy goodies! 💙

We are proud to recognize the hard work, dedication, and countless hours these young exhibitors put into their projects all year long. From early mornings to late nights, caring for their animals and preparing for the show takes commitment—and it shows! 👏🏼

🍂 HELLO, FALL! 🍁

Happy First Day of Fall, even if it doesn’t exactly feel Fall-ish!🎃🍂

We’re saying goodbye to summer and welcoming a new season filled with cozy days, beautiful colors, cooler temperatures, and all the fun that fall has to offer! 🍎🌻🧡

Here’s hoping for cooler temperatures soon and plenty of opportunities to enjoy everything we love about fall—football games, hayrides, pumpkin patches, bonfires, changing leaves, and time spent with family and friends!

🧠 NATIONAL CONCUSSION AWARENESS DAY: KNOW THE SIGNS. KNOW WHEN TO ACT.

Concussions can happen to anyone, anywhere. They’re not just a sports injury.

🏈 ATHLETES:
Collisions, falls, tackles, equipment, and other impacts can cause a concussion.

👵 OLDER ADULTS:
Falls are a common cause — even a seemingly minor fall can result in a head injury.

🚗 EVERYONE:
Car accidents, bike accidents, workplace injuries, recreational activities, and everyday falls can all cause concussions.

🚨 WATCH FOR:

• Headache or dizziness
• Confusion or memory problems
• Nausea or vomiting
• Blurred vision
• Balance problems
• Sensitivity to light or noise
• Unusual tiredness or mood changes

🆘 WHEN TO GET HELP

If you suspect a concussion, stop the activity and seek medical evaluation.

Call 911 for severe or worsening symptoms, repeated vomiting, seizure, increasing confusion, weakness/numbness, slurred speech, loss of consciousness, or difficulty waking.

💙 When in doubt, get checked out.
Taking a concussion seriously can make a difference.
