If you are a woman building a business, first generation into business? Then you know the work the struggle to build the r tools. When you don’t have privilege to be an entrepreneur you know the restless nights, the emotional rollercoaster and the chanllenges that come with all. I am going through some transition at the moment but would like to get back to doing networking event and I definitely would like to do a class/workshop. What would you like to see? Many people come to therapy believing they need to learn how to cope. What they may not realize is that coping isn’t all they need.

They also need capacity: the ability to be with life’s complexity, notice what’s happening, and choose when and how they’re ready to engage with it.

This is the heart of the Activation and Integration framework I use to guide people living with complex trauma. We build capacity together, at a pace that feels manageable, so what has been held can begin to be understood and integrated.

Healing doesn’t mean taking everything on at once. It means having more room, more choice, and more support as you meet what comes up.

Back in 2023, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Karina and Collective! on this project, with Karina’s permission to share it.

Looking back, this was the beginning of what was to come. Her story still inspires me today. It helped inspire me to step outside the office and begin offering classes and workshops—bringing my work beyond the therapy room and into the community.
