👏S T A F F S P O T L I G H T👏

Katie has an amazing green thumb and has transformed the residents backyards into something truly incredible! From sweet strawberries to pumpkins galore and everything in between, she has created a beautiful space that brings joy, learning, and opportunity to everyone who visits.

Katie has dedicated countless hours to caring for the garden while sharing her knowledge with both residents and staff. She has inspired healthy eating, taught valuable gardening skills, and helped others develop a greater appreciation for where food comes from.

We are incredibly grateful to have Katie as part of the Luxe family. She has made a lasting difference in the lives of the individuals we serve, always leading with compassion, patience, and encouragement.

Thank you, Katie, for your dedication, kindness, and for helping our residents bloom alongside your beautiful garden.

🌈This Disability Pride Month, we celebrate the amazing individuals we have the privilege of supporting every day.

We believe in choice, independence, inclusion, and creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. Thank you to our residents, staff, families, and community for helping make belonging a reality.

As changes to laws and funding that impact disability services continue to be discussed, advocacy has never been more important. Together, we can help ensure every person has access to the supports, opportunities, and respect they deserve.

Happy Disability Pride Month! 💙

Mental health matters every day, and it starts with how we show up for each other.

Last week, the Board of Commissioners officially recognized May as Mental Health Awareness Month and there are simple, meaningful ways you can make a difference right where you are.

- Start by checking in with someone. Ask, "How have you been, really? and take a moment to listen.
- Take care of yourself, too. Step outside, get some rest, and build small habits that help you recharge.
- Pay attention to how we talk about mental health. The more we speak openly and without judgment, the more we help reduce stigma.

If someone you know is struggling, spend time with them, help them find support, and remind them they're not alone.
