📣 For those attending the No Kings protest today: Stay safe. Stay aware. Stay grounded.

Protests can be powerful — but they can also shift quickly. Here’s how to protect yourself:

1. Trust your instincts.
If something feels off, it probably is. Don’t ignore that signal.

2. Know your exits.
Always identify at least two ways out of the area you’re in.

3. Don’t go alone.
Stick with a buddy and set a check-in plan in case you get separated.

4. Stay calm, not reactive.
Escalation thrives on chaos. Your calm is your power.

5. Avoid arguing with agitators.
You’re not here to convince anyone. You’re here to show up — smart, safe, and strong.

6. Prep your phone:
🔋 Fully charged

De-escalation isn’t:
• Being passive—it’s active, intentional, and powerful
• About giving in—it’s about protecting your peace, on your terms
• A weakness—it’s a skill to stay safe and in control

De-escalation isn’t about shrinking back—it’s about showing up with calm, clear confidence.

On August 7th in Salem, I’ll be teaching a 60-minute workshop just for women—no self-defense drills, no physical contact. Just real-world strategies and mindset shifts to keep you safe and steady. Registration opens this week!

👥 Limited to 30 participants.
💰 $35 per person.
