We offer certified American Heart Association Courses as well as other personal and professional classes and services for you and your team. We are located in the Security Building, next to the Elsinore Theater.

Hi community.

I'm Seeking Community Space for CPR Classes & Art Programs

I'm looking for community partners who may have classroom or meeting space available for American Heart Association BLS, CPR, AED, First Aid, and other educational classes, as well as art classes and community art club meetings.

I've been proudly serving our community since 2010 and am looking for affordableā€”or, if possible, donatedā€”space to help make these programs more accessible.

Ideal Days

- Sundays (preferred)
- Saturdays
- Mondays

Most classes have 6ā€“12 participants.

What I'm Looking For

- Classroom, meeting room, studio, conference room, church classroom, community center, library meeting room, or similar space
- Access to a restroom
- Handicap-accessible entrance (or elevator if upstairs)
- Adequate parking for students
- Tables and chairs are a bonus but not required

If your organization, business, church, nonprofit, community center, or club has unused space on these days, I'd love to explore how we might work together. I'm also happy to discuss cross-promotion, community education opportunities, or other mutually beneficial partnerships.

If your activism isn't accessible & inclusive, who is it even for?
Here's a few things to keep in mind for accessible organizing:
1. If organizing an in-person event, communicate accessibility (including elevator or ramp availability) and public transit options.
2. When organizing online events or trainings, include options for closed captioning. It is also helpful to record sessions for those unable to join live (such as parents, students, and others with tight schedules!)
3. Avoid jargon and don't assume everybody knows certain phrases or acronyms (such as TERF).
