Ascension St. Vincent has reached a new agreement with UnitedHealthcare (UHC). This ensures patients with UHC Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid coverage will continue to have uninterrupted, in-network access to care at our hospitals, clinics and outpatient facilities.

Ascension St. Vincent extends its gratitude to patients, caregivers and partners for their continued trust, support and patience throughout this process.

This agreement is more than a contract — it is a reaffirmation of our Mission to serve all with dignity and compassion. By securing fair and sustainable reimbursement, we can continue supporting our caregivers, strengthening our ministry, and providing high-quality care to the individuals and families who rely on us.

Congratulations to Nicole, our DAISY Award recipient! 🌼

Nicole was nominated by one of her colleagues for her outstanding patient care.

"During shift change, Nicole immediately noticed that one of her patients did not look well. Trusting her instincts, she promptly placed the patient on the monitor and discovered he was in A-fib with RVR. In addition to this critical rhythm, the patient was also experiencing altered mental status. Without hesitation, she notified the physician, advocated for immediate action, and ensured the patient was moved to a room closer to the front for better visibility and faster response time. She immediately began appropriate interventions and coordinated transfer by helicopter. Her rapid assessment, decisive action, and strong clinical judgment very likely saved this patient's life."

Along with her clinical excellence, Nicole is also helpful and always willing to step in whenever needed. She elevates the entire team with her positivity and professionalism.
