I told my dad I didn't win the pageant. He told me I was wrong, and dads don't lie. 😄
And honestly? I couldn't argue with him.
He reminded me of why I joined in the first place. And when I measured it against that? I won. I walked into this pageant as one version of myself and I am walking away as someone new: more confident, more grounded, and clearer than ever about who I am and what I'm capable of.
So let me be clear about what hasn't changed: I am not done showing up for my community. I will keep doing the work to help women recognize that they belong in upper leadership because they do. I will keep partnering with businesses and organizations to look honestly at their pipelines, bring women in, and set them up to thrive. That mission didn't start with this crown and it certainly doesn't end without one.
To my friends and family, thank you for being my foundation. To my sponsors, your belief in me made this real. And to the legacy Queens who cheered me on, shared their wisdom, and showed me what pageantry is truly about, you are the heart of this. I am so grateful.
I came into this experience with purpose. I'm leaving with even more of it. This chapter isn't closing, it's just getting good. And if you think this is the last you'll see of me on that stage... 👀 stay tuned. 👑
