Going forward, effective immediately, SAAT deposits will be nonrefundable.
Unfortunately, I’ve had an increasing number of patients schedule appointments, pay the deposit, and then cancel as soon as they’re able to get in somewhere else. I’ve processed three refunds today alone for that reason.
I pay processing fees every time a refund is issued, and those fees are charged by the payment processor, not by my office.
There is a reason this treatment is booked out til October. I’ve invested a great deal of time, training, and certification into providing this service. To be completely transparent, it’s incredibly frustrating and, honestly, a little offensive to be told that someone found an earlier appointment with another provider offering SAAT, especially when that provider isn’t certified in the treatment.
I completely understand wanting to be seen sooner, and everyone has the right to make the decision that’s best for them. However, moving forward, SAAT deposits will be nonrefundable.
If you scheduled your appointment before today’s date, I will honor the previous policy, which allowed cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
