What a remarkable image for a New Moon in Libra, the sign of justice, balance, and relationship.

Who is held accountable? Who sits in judgment? And who has been permitted to stand above the law?

A New Moon invites us to plant seeds for what has not yet come into being.

May those seeds bear fruits of truth, accountability, justice, and freedom.

✦ 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 & 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗼𝗿 ✦

A recent reflection on my personal page sparked a wonderful conversation about astrology, mystery, and intellectual rigor.

I'd like to bring that conversation here to Astrology Shines because it speaks to something central to my work.

Astrology does not have to be stripped of mystery in order to have intellectual rigor. Nor does mystery require us to abandon discernment.

I think the real work is learning to hold both.

☽ wonder and inquiry
✧ intuition and scholarship
☿ the numinous and the observable

I have no interest in making astrology smaller in order to make it respectable. And I have no interest in making the mystical take a back seat. We can ask good questions in all areas.

Since returning from Sedona, I have been thinking about the thresholds we encounter—those moments when we know something is changing, even though we cannot yet see what comes next.

For October, I am opening 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.

✨ 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗦𝗛𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗟𝗘 ✨

🌙 On September 24, 1891, Asteroid 318 Magdalena was discovered beneath the skies of Nice, France.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

She simply had not yet been 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻.

🏜️ Today, beneath the Sedona skies, I find myself thinking about what happens when what has been hidden becomes visible—and when what has been quiet finally finds its 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲.

Perhaps some things return only when we are ready to see them.

And perhaps some voices wait until we are ready to hear them. 🕊️

✨ There is more stirring above these red rocks than I expected.
