Important Update: School Canceled Tuesday, August 18

Unfortunately, the repairs made to the water system did not hold, and the issue affecting water service remains unresolved. Because this also impacts the operation of fire-suppression systems in our schools, we cannot safely reopen as planned.

As a result, school will be canceled for all students and staff tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18.

We understand this change comes after our earlier announcement that schools would reopen, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may cause. Our priority is ensuring our schools can operate safely before students and staff return.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as crews continue working to resolve the issue. We will share another update as soon as we have confirmed information regarding reopening.
