We were honored to welcome members of the Saline County 4-H Development Fund Board to Salina Presbyterian Manor for a special visit with resident Ken Jennison, one of the founding members of the organization. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Development Fund, which has invested in generations of Saline County youth through scholarships and leadership opportunities. In 2026 alone, the fund awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships, including the Ken & June Jennison Scholarship.

The board stopped by to personally thank Ken for his vision, dedication, and lasting impact on the 4-H community. It was a wonderful visit celebrating a legacy of service that continues to open doors for young people across our county.

Thank you to the Saline County 4-H Development Fund Board for taking the time to honor Ken and for continuing the mission he helped begin 30 years ago. 💚

The best Saturdays are the ones spent together. ☀️💙
Our residents took advantage of the beautiful Kansas weather with a relaxing golf cart ride around the Salina Presbyterian Manor campus, complete with sunshine, fresh air, and a peaceful stop by the pond.
Moments like these are about so much more than enjoying the outdoors. Time in nature, meaningful conversation, and a change of scenery all support physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Sometimes the simplest adventures create the biggest smiles.

An oil painter for more than 50 years, Jean Fritz used wax and watercolor paint on rice paper to create “Batiked Bouquet,” her mixed media entry that’s featured in the 2026 Art is Ageless® calendar. “I love this project!” shared Jean.

Who knew we had so many UNO champions in Health Care? 🃏❤️
It all started with an impromptu game... and before long, the tables were full of laughter, friendly competition, and a whole lot of "UNO!"
