help people build healthier habits every dayโ€ฆ but which ones do I ACTUALLY follow myself? ๐Ÿ‘€

Hi, I'm Ashlyn, one of the NRT practitioners at Thrive! ๐Ÿ’š

There's SO much health advice out there. Eat this. Avoid that. Take these supplements. Follow this routine.

As an NRT practitioner, I believe nutrition, lifestyle habits, and individualized nutritional support all play important roles in building a healthier foundation.

That's why sharing not just WHAT I prioritize, but WHY those choices matter!

In this reel, I'm giving you a peek into my own wellness routine and the healthy habits I find most valuable.

Because practicing what you teach matters! ๐Ÿ’š

Now I'm curiousโ€ฆ what's ONE healthy habit you never skip? Tell me below! ๐Ÿ‘‡

STOP trying to change EVERYTHING to get healthier! ๐Ÿ‘€

What if the secret to building healthier habits is actually doing LESS?

When people decide it's time to get healthy, they often try to change everything overnight.

New diet. New supplements. New workout routine. Better sleep. More water.

And by week two? They're overwhelmed and ready to give up!

Here's what I tell my patients: Pick ONE thing. Just ONE.

Make that your ONE goal.

Do it consistently for a few weeks until it becomes part of your routine.

Then? ADD another healthy habit, but KEEP the first one!

Keep layering those habits, one at a time.

Because lasting health isn't built by changing everything on Monday. It's built by doing the little things consistently, day after day.

At Thrive, we believe that small, sustainable changes can create a strong foundation for long-term wellness.

STOP buying a new probiotic every time your stomach acts up! ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ’Š

You might be spending money on supplements without addressing what your digestive system actually needs!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE quality probiotics. But they're not always the FIRST thing I consider when someone is dealing with bloating, digestive discomfort, or an unhappy gut.

Here's how I approach digestive support at Thrive:

๐Ÿฅ— 1. SUPPORT DIGESTION FIRST. Your body needs to properly break down the food you're eating. Chewing, digestive enzymes and stomach acid play important roles in this process. Standard Process Zypan is one supplement we use to support healthy digestion.

๐ŸŒฟ 2. CONSIDER THE GUT ENVIRONMENT. It's not just about adding more good bacteria! We also consider nutrition, digestive function, and the overall gut environment. BioToxin Binder is an excellent product to help normalize gut function.

๐Ÿ’š 3. SUPPORT AND SOOTHE THE GUT. Sometimes, our focus is on supporting digestive comfort rather than adding another probiotic. GI InnerCalm is another product we may consider as part of a personalized gut-support routine.

Here's what I want you to remember: MORE supplements don't necessarily mean BETTER results.

It's about choosing the RIGHT support for YOUR body instead of buying another bottle and hoping for the best.

At Thrive, we believe in using quality supplements with a purpose, not just filling your cabinet!

๐Ÿ’š SAVE this before your next probiotic purchase!

Supplement needs vary. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Persistent digestive symptoms deserve appropriate medical evaluation.

Your blood tests came back NORMALโ€ฆ so why do you still feel TERRIBLE? ๐Ÿ‘€

You're exhausted. Your digestion is off. Maybe you're dealing with brain fog, stubborn weight changes, or symptoms that just won't go away.

But your bloodwork looks fine.

Here's what I want you to know: Normal lab results don't always mean there's nothing going on.

Blood tests are valuable tools, but they don't tell us everything about how your body is functioning.

Sometimes, there are other pieces of the puzzle worth exploring:

๐Ÿ”Ž Nutritional intake and possible deficiencies

๐Ÿฅ— Digestive health and eating habits

๐Ÿ˜ด Sleep quality and chronic stress

๐Ÿ’š Lifestyle factors that may be contributing to how you feel

At Thrive, we believe in looking at the WHOLE picture, not just the numbers on a lab report.

๐Ÿ’š Tired of hearing โ€œeverything looks normalโ€ when you KNOW something isn't right? Stop settling for unanswered questions.

Comment ANSWERS below and let's talk about how Thrive approaches persistent symptoms differently! ๐Ÿ‘‡

What if your body is showing signs of TOO MUCH STRESSโ€ฆ and you're missing them? ๐Ÿ‘€

Stress doesn't always look like feeling overwhelmed or anxious.

Sometimes, your body is sending signals that it's spending too much time in fight-or-flight mode and not enough time in rest-and-recovery mode.

Here are 4 signs I want you to pay attention to:

๐Ÿ˜ด You wake up exhausted, even after a full night's sleep. Stress can interfere with deep, restorative sleep, leaving you feeling like you never truly rested.

โค๏ธ Your blood pressure or resting heart rate is elevated. Chronic stress can keep your sympathetic nervous system activated, making it harder for your body to shift into a relaxed, parasympathetic state.

๐Ÿฅ— Your digestion is sluggish or uncomfortable. Your body prioritizes survival over digestion when you're stressed. Spending too much time in fight-or-flight mode can disrupt normal digestive function.

โšก You startle easily or feel constantly on edge. This may be a sign your nervous system is staying on high alert, even when there's no immediate danger.

Here's what I really want you to understand:

You don't have to FEEL stressed for your body to be experiencing the effects of stress.

And if you're constantly pushing through these signals, you may be overlooking an important piece of your overall health.

At Thrive, we look at nutrition, lifestyle, and individualized support to help patients build a healthier foundation for their bodies.

๐Ÿ’š Which of these signs surprised you the most? Tell me below! ๐Ÿ‘‡

*These symptoms can also have causes unrelated to stress. Persistent fatigue, digestive changes, or elevated blood pressure or heart rate deserve appropriate medical evaluation.

Just because something is labeled healthy doesn't mean it's automatically supporting balanced blood sugar.
In fact, some of the habits you think are helping could be making things harder!

Here are 5 I want you to rethink:

๐Ÿฅค 1. Drinking your breakfast. A fruit-heavy smoothie or juice without enough protein, fat, or fiber may cause a bigger blood sugar spike than you realize.

๐Ÿฏ 2. Thinking natural sugar doesn't count. Honey, maple syrup, agave, and dates may be natural, but they can STILL raise your blood sugar.

๐ŸŽ 3. Grazing on โ€œhealthyโ€ snacks all day. Granola bars, dried fruit, and crackers can add up to repeated glucose rises, especially without protein or fiber.

๐Ÿฅ— 4. Eating TOO little. Skipping meals or surviving on a tiny salad can leave you starving and reaching for quick energy later.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ 5. Thinking your workout makes up for sitting all day. Exercise is great, but moving throughout the day matters, too!

Here's the part I really want you to understand:

You don't necessarily need to eat LESS or eliminate all carbohydrates.

You need to be more intentional about WHAT you eat, HOW you combine foods, and the habits you practice consistently.

Small changes can make a BIG difference in supporting healthy blood sugar regulation. ๐Ÿ’š

Surprised? Tell me below! ๐Ÿ‘‡
