What's in a name?
I struggled to come up with a name that had meaning to me.
Until after a nice glass or glasses of peach wine🍷and a 5.5 hour boards exam, I landed on Lonesome Rose.
It represents two of the most important beings in my life.
Lonesome was not my first horse but definitely my first heart horse ❤️. He played a big part in making me the rider I have become. I lost him in 2006 after multiple strangulation lipomas and I struggled to connect with a horse for a little after. Another does/will come along but will never replace the first heart horse.
And Rose for my grandma, Kate, but everyone close to her called her Rose. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her in some way or wish I could just talk to her. She was always the one I could tell literally anything. The rose 🌹 in our logo is pink for her favorite color and her love for flowers.
