Whether you are seeking short-term rehabilitation or long-term nursing care, you'll find it on the beautiful 40-acre Trinity Oaks campus.

For intensive recuperation or long-term care needs, Trinity Oaks offers skilled care nursing and rehabilitation on its beautiful Salisbury campus. Skilled nursing refers to medical services just short of hospitalization or acute care by healthcare professionals including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants. Speech, occupational, respiratory, and physical

therapies as well as pharmacy and referral services are also available. Additional services include transportation to local physicians or to medical appointments at no charge. While Trinity Oaks independent living residents receive priority access to these services, admission to Trinity Oaks health and rehabilitation is open to the greater community.

June 14, honors the adoption of the United States flag in 1777. Flag Day is a day to recognize the history, freedom, and unity our flag represents.

🍩 National Donut Day Celebration! 🍩

Friday, we celebrated National Donut Day with hot and ready donuts from Krispy Kreme and a fun-filled round of Toss the Glaze!

From enjoying sweet treats to showing off their tossing skills, everyone had a great time sharing laughs, making memories, and embracing a little friendly competition. 🍩🍩

United States Senator Ted Budd’s Regional Director Justin Somers visited Trinity Oaks this week. He joined us for lunch to learn about the ministries of Lutheran Services Carolinas.

Teammates discussed LSC’s advocacy priorities: adequate Medicaid and Medicare funding from Washington, a legal immigration path, etc., to address the shortage of direct care workers, and Hurricane Helene support.

Last Wednesday and Thursday during our “Moments in Bloom” week were filled with creativity, connection, and plenty of smiles. 🌸🐝

Wednesday’s theme, Peaceful Petals, focused on relaxation and sensory experiences. We enjoyed “Name the Scent,” created floral-infused roller balls, built beautiful bouquets, made floral sensory bottles, and participated in calming petal yoga. A peaceful day blooming with joy and creativity. 🌷

Thursday brought the buzz with Busy Bees & Blooms! We stayed active and engaged with honeycomb art, honey bowling, our “Fact or Fiction: Bee Edition” game, and Pass the Bee. A special thank you to Alex Bruce, Assistant Administrator at Trinity Oaks Retirement Community, for joining us for an informative and fun beekeeping chat. 🍯🐝

Celebrating American Health Care Association National Skilled Nursing Care Week with this year’s beautiful theme, Moments in Bloom 🌸✨

Monday we kicked things off with our “Bloom Your Way” day filled with creativity, laughter, and lots of flowers! Residents and staff wore their brightest colors to match the vibrant energy of the day. 🌼🌈 Residents enjoyed flower crown making, floral magnet crafts, water can toss, our gratitude garden, flower name challenge, and so much more. 🌷

Today we wandered into the wildflowers with our “Wandering Wildflowers” theme, with everyone dressed in beautiful earth tones to embrace the natural vibes of the day. 🌿🤎 Residents stayed active with a Wild Root workout, explored during a nature scavenger hunt, decorated flower journals, and traveled through stunning virtual garden tours. 🌻🍃

Every moment this week has been blooming with joy, connection, creativity, and fun. We love celebrating the beauty, individuality, and spirit of our residents each and every day. 💕

This Mother’s Day weekend was filled with love, laughter, and celebrating the incredible women in our lives. From our VCC Mother’s Day Tea, to a special outing at Outback, and ending with our beautiful Mother’s Day brunch themed “Love Through the Lens,” every moment reminded us just how important it is to honor those who nurture, guide, support, and love so deeply. 💐📸

During our luncheon, each lady was gifted a special photo album — a meaningful way to share and showcase the people and memories they love most through the lens. Seeing the joy, stories, and treasured moments exchanged around the table made the day even more heartfelt and memorable. ❤️

Mothers deserve to be spoiled not just today, but every day, for the countless sacrifices they make, the comfort they give, and the strength they show even when no one is watching. Today we also celebrate all women — mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, caregivers, friends, and mentors — because each one plays a vital role in shaping our lives and filling our hearts with love.

Thank you to all the amazing women who make the world brighter simply by being in it. Happy Mother’s Day! 💕

Yesterday we went to see the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers and despite the rainy weather, it didn’t put a damper on the fun! ⚾️🌧️ We still enjoyed a day of great food, laughter, memories, and wonderful company. A fantastic time will be remembered well after the rain is gone! ☔️
