National Recovery Month is a great time to share the honest truth about the devastation addiction causes individuals and families as well as communities. But most importantly, it is a time to bring awareness to the hope & healing found in recovery. Everyone's path will not look the same so please keep that in mind and be encouraging rather than judging.
If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction and you'd like some relief, please reach out for help today. Call the Recovery Resource Center at (410)749-9482 or the Wicomico County COAT Team at (443)783-6875

💜🌟 Gratitude and Inspiration! 🌟💜
Tonight’s Lower Shore National Recovery Month Launch Event reminded us what community leadership looks like in action.

Our speakers — local leaders who champion recovery and wellness across the Lower Shore — shared powerful insights on how collaboration and compassion strengthen our region. One speaker’s personal story of recovery brought the message home, showing that hope and healing are not just possible — they’re happening right here.

🎨 The Addiction Awareness Art Showcase from high‑school students was stunning and heartfelt.
🍪 The fellowship and conversation around the room? Pure connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, and helped make this event a success.
