McKamey earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and a Masters in Sports
Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University. He possesses specialty certification by the
American Chiropractic Association in Chiropractic Wellness and Post-Surgical Spine
Rehabilitation, as well as post-doctoral certifications in Internal Health, Cox Flexion Distraction
Technique, Advanced Clinical Laser Therapeut

ics and Graston Technique. Dr. McKamey has
special interest and education in the treatment of Lyme’s Disease and is pursuing studies in
Nutrition and Functional Medicine. He is currently working toward Diplomate status with the

🎉 Today we celebrate six years.
On July 7, 2020, during one of the most uncertain times in recent memory, Julie and I opened the doors to East Park Integrative Chiropractic with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based chiropractic and rehabilitative care to the people of Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Looking back, we could never have imagined the friendships we would build, the lives we would have the privilege to touch, or the trust our patients would place in us. That trust has been, and continues to be, one of the greatest honors of our professional lives.

Over the years, we've learned that the greatest reward isn't found in milestones, but in the trust of a community and the opportunity to serve it well.

To our patients, colleagues, referral partners, friends, and family—thank you. Your confidence, encouragement, and support have allowed our practice to grow and thrive. We are grateful every day for the opportunity to serve this wonderful community.

Today is Monday June 9, 2025.
Things have been somewhat an odyssey recently. I write from St. Louis, Missouri. Our journey began Thursday morning May 29th when Julie's father, Varne G. Rueff a USMC Vietnam Veteran and career union Millwright, departed this world following a long illness. Unable to find flights to get us to Michigan without spending nearly 20 hours in airports and in the air, we decided to end our Thursday in the office early and make the 14 hour drive. We packed quickly and got on the road by 3:30 stopping overnight in Latrobe, PA completing the trip Friday afternoon. "Butch" was laid to rest with full military honors in Alanson, Michigan the following Tuesday.
As we traveled through PA to Michigan that Friday AM our son called to inform us, the granddaughter we have been anxiously awaiting, was going to arrive early. Briar Elizabeth McKamey entered this world (2 weeks early) on May 30th at approximately 10:01 weighing in at 6 lbs. 5 oz. and 19.5 in. long, perfect in every way.
We departed Northern Michigan Tuesday afternoon following the burial service and made a stop in South Haven to spend the night with my brother Kyle and visit with my mother for a few hours Wednesday only to get back on the road enroute to St. Louis to meet our granddaughter. We have been here about a week.
We will depart in the morning to return home by Wednesday then return to the office by Thursday morning. It has been a whirlwind trip. To date we have traveled 1700+ miles and have over 1000 miles to go. Thanks to ALL of our family and friends who have provided lodging, meals, thoughts and prayers to Julie and I on this journey. We are exceedingly blessed.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." This second sentence of the Declaration of Independence laid a foundation of freedom that has endured 248 years. It was a radical idea but, it came to represent a moral standard to which the United States of America would thrive. To that, we would like to wish everyone a safe and happy Independence Day. Our forefathers foresaw a mighty nation of “Liberty and Justice for All”. Today, let us honor the diversity that strengthens our nation and work towards a future where every American can pursue their own dreams without prejudice or hindrance.

To that, the doctors and staff of East Park Integrative Chiropractic would like to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July.

Our offices will be closed Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of the holiday. Dr. McKamey will return to regular patient care hours at 8AM on Tuesday, July 9th.

Memorial Day is a day of REMEMBRANCE not a day of celebration. Every year on this day I struggle to find something that epitomizes the seriousness of the day. This year I found this, from Mat Best co-founder of Black Rifle Coffee Company.
