Everyone knows that Miss Bri is THE QUEEN of our front office at PTS. The front desk can be a LOT!
This summer we are offering her some assistance and support. Meet Miss Emily!!

Hi! I’m Emily, and I’m currently halfway through the PTA program at Carl Albert State College. I’m thankful for the opportunity to be part of the team this summer at Progressive!

I’m excited to work with kids, gain hands on experience, build connections with families, and continue developing my skills this summer!

In my free time, I love going to the beach, spending time outside, hanging out with my four nieces, and staying active at the gym. You can also catch me working some at 7 Brew! I can’t wait to meet you all and get to know everyone!

We are so excited to announce that this summer we will have a couple new faces in our office helping out. Let's give them a huge welcome!!

First, let's welcome Patrice:

Hello!! I’m Patrice!! I’ve been an SLP for 25 years and absolutely love my job!! My experience is mostly with K-12 in the school systems but a little with home health, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. Helping another communicate efficiently and effectively is an honor no matter what that may look like. I am excited to work a few days a week at Progressive Therapy solutions.

In my down time I love spending time with my family either on the lake or eating!! My husband and I have 3 sons, 2 daughter in laws and 4 grandbabies with 2 more on the way. I also love my dogs!! Dog training is one of my favorite pastimes. Looking forward to serving the community of Progressive Therapy!!

SUMMER SCHEDULES BEGIN SOON!!
JUNE 1-JULY 31

☀️ Summer should be full of fun, memories, and PLAY… but for many kids, it can also mean “SUMMER REGRESSION” in important academic and developmental skills.

Over the summer break, children may lose progress in:
📚 Reading & writing
🔢 Math concepts
🧠 Memory & attention
✏️ Handwriting
🗣️ Language & communication
🎯 Executive functioning skills like organization and following directions

For some children, it can take weeks—or even months—to regain those skills once school starts again.

That’s where therapy can help bridge the gap🌉

At Progressive Therapy Solutions, we use fun, engaging, play-based activities to keep kids learning while still enjoying summer. Therapy sessions can help maintain routines, strengthen confidence, and support continued growth so children return to school feeling prepared—not overwhelmed.🧡💚

And because summer learning doesn’t have to look like worksheets at the kitchen table. Sometimes it looks like:
🌈 Obstacle courses
🎲 Games
🖍️ Crafts
🏖️ Sensory play
📖 Story time
…and a whole lot of confidence-building along the way.🙌🏻

Our summer schedules are almost full and we ask that all families make it a priority to attend those sessions weekly! ☀️

We are a little late for “front office appreciation day”, but we have the BEST there is. Hands down!!

Brianna Poindexter is the calm before the busy day begins,
The reassuring voice when chaos rushes in.
With steady hands and a gentle smile,
She makes the hardest moments feel worthwhile.

She answers calls, she guides, she plans,
She holds the heartbeat of these walls in her hands.
