A graveside service for Jeannie Sue Stevenson, age 74, of Gore, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 25, 2026. The burial will follow at Warseat Cemetery in Gore, handled by Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Jeannie was born on June 2, 1952, in Notchitown, Oklahoma, to Nannie Noisey and Scott Stevenson. She passed away on June 23, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Throughout her life, she worked as a housekeeper.

She leaves behind three daughters; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Andrew Noisey; and her sister, Minnie Ruth Noisey.

Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Funeral service for Sandy Breashears, 81, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

Sandy was born on July 28, 1944, in Richmond, California, to Margaret Marie (Griffith) and Clayton Laymon Farmer. She passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, in Sallisaw. A graduate of Sallisaw High School, where she was a proud majorette, Sandy took the initiative in her sophomore year to ask out Jim Breashears, whom she later married on June 13, 1964. They made their home in Sallisaw and welcomed their daughter Jamie 18 months later. They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

Following high school, Sandy graduated dental hygiene school in Memphis, TN, returned to Sallisaw and went to work for Dr. Carter. With dedication, she supported Jim through school, and together they established an accounting firm where Sandy contributed significantly over the years. Always active, she devoted herself to playing golf with her friends when her daughter Jamie went to college. Her love for fishing with Jim, Bridge with friends, and visiting the casino with Mary Ellen rounded out her wonderful life. An accomplished seamstress, Sandy's attention to detail was unmatched.

She is survived by her devoted husband Jim Breashears of the home; daughter Jamie Breashears Tower of Florida; brother Clayton Lee Farmer of Tulsa, OK; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and brother George Farmer.

Active pallbearers will be Brian Cannon, Jeffrey Cannon, Clay Farmer, Perry Farmer, Jerry Breashears, Thomas Wentz, and Mitch Price. Honorary pallbearers include Darlene Agent, Norma Cannon, Pam Marvin, Betty Fornaszewski, Linda Ford, Fleta Haskins, Ann Bullett, Deeanna Glen, Mary Ellen Lillard, Johnny Overstreet, Nancy Fine, and Chicquietta Maxwell.

Viewing will be on Tuesday from 5–8 PM at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any preferred church or charity.

She was born on March 25, 1940 in Stockton, California to Francis (Brooks) Peterson and Delbert Peterson and passed away on June 21, 2026 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was married to Karl Potochnik on January 17, 1963 in Coronado, California. Mrs. Potochnik was a water and waste water chemistry instructor.

Survivors are husband, Karl of the home; one daughter, Leonette Graves of California; two adopted daughters, Deanna Schielke and companion, Michael, of Muldrow, OK and Marcia Carlile and husband, James, of Maricopa, AZ; four grandchildren, Johnna, Alicia, Jason and Christopher; three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica and Sebastian; one great-great-grandchild, Marceline; one brother, David Camillo of California; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Robert Potochnik, Karl Martin Potochnik and Francis "Bucky" Potochnik; one daughter, Lorena Potochnik; her parents; and one brother, Delbert Lee Peterson.

Dan Heritage, 88, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on June 21, 2026. Born on March 21, 1938, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Lorene Marie (Shumate) Heritage and Perry Lee Heritage, Dan was a U.S. Army Veteran and the owner of the former Heritage Jewelry in Sallisaw.

He is remembered by his wife, Helen, his two stepchildren, Gary Cox and his wife Angela of Sallisaw, and Cathy Connel and her husband Scott of Tulsa. Dan is also survived by his sister, Naomi Pardon of Virginia, his brother, Dave Heritage of Yakima, Washington, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Jean (Woolsey) Heritage, his stepson Robert, his parents, and his siblings, Wanda, Barbara, and Charles.

Sandra "Sandy" (LaRue) Copeland, age 69, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on June 19, 2026. Born on August 6, 1956, in Van Buren, Arkansas, to Shirley Dean LaRue and Jerry Ray LaRue, she was the beloved wife of Jerry Copeland, whom she married on February 7, 1998, at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church in Sallisaw.

Her professional life included roles as a teller supervisor at First National Bank of Sallisaw and an admissions coordinator at Mayes Home Health, but her most important and cherished roles were as a dedicated pastor's wife, chief cook, and coordinator of Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church. Sandy was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was found in spending time with her family. She treasured every moment spent with them. Sandy enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and trips to Branson and Silver Dollar City, as well as cooking, her church, and her church family.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; their children, Nicki Thomason and Kendall of Sallisaw, OK, Walter Davis of Sallisaw, OK, Shannon Davis Cook and Brian of Yukon, OK and Ryan Copeland and Teresa of Sallisaw, OK; their grandchildren, Abigail, Jadon, Trysten, Adyson, Skyler, Hayden, Madisyn, Mason, Chris, Blaine, Tagen, Alex, Raeana and Brooklyne; one sister, Mitzi LaRue Pless and Michael of Van Buren, AR; and numerous other relatives and a host friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Active Pallbearers will be Ryan Copeland, Kendall Thomason, Walter Davis, Jadon Thomason, Trysten Davis, Alex Copeland and Skyler Davis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Pless and the men of Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church, followed by burial at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service. Viewing will be available noon - 8 PM on Tuesday, with the family present to greet friends from 5 to 7 PM.

Joyce (Harl) Davis

Joyce (Harl) Davis, age 82, of Vian, Oklahoma, passed away on June 18, 2026, in Kinta, Oklahoma. Born on September 4, 1943, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Dessie Margaret (Long) Harl and Charles Henry “C.H.” Harl.

Joyce devoted much of her life to her family. She was married to Preston Davis, Jr. in 1962, who preceded her in death in 2009. Joyce worked for 14 years at Borg Warner and was known for her love of the outdoors, particularly enjoying time floating on the river and lake. She was also an exceptional cook, a passion she shared with those she loved.

She is lovingly remembered by her three sons, Preston Darin Davis and Jenetta, Dwayne Davis, and Derrell Davis, all of Vian, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Joyce is also survived by her brother, Paul Harl of Sallisaw, Oklahoma; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Preston Davis III; two brothers, Charles Harl, Jr. and Dempsey Harl; and one sister, Thelma Southern.

A cremation service is being conducted under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
