"My favorite part about working this job is learning to stretch the pizza dough". Join us in congratulating Bluejay!

Executive Director Paige and Member Jerrica just returned from the Michigan conference. This was a 3 day conference where members and staff from the 40 Clubhouse's in Michigan collaborated together, shared best practices, and advanced the Clubhouse movement.
Jerrica and Paige were honored to be asked to attend. While there, they assisted with the opening plenary "The Power of Connection" and joined colleagues to facilitate two workshops: Housing and Diversifying Funding. It was a wonderful time learning from our colleagues in Michigan and we are thankful that we got to participate.

Alliance House would like to recognize Easterseals Goodwill for their partnership with Alliance House for Transitional Employment. This partnership began about 8 years ago with one placement at one location. Over time our partnership has grown to have 4 placements at 4 different locations! We value our partnership with Easterseals Goodwill as their mission aligns greatly with Clubhouse.
Easterseals-Goodwill mission is "We’re passionate about providing opportunities for people to access the skills, support and encouragement they need to achieve greater independence. Whether we’re teaching adults with intellectual disabilities daily living skills, helping low-income workers find meaningful employment, or assisting elderly adults with household chores so they can remain at home, the goal of all Easterseals-Goodwill services is to help people
increase their independence and improve their lives".
Thank you Easterseals Goodwill for all of your support of ensuring adults living with mental illness have access to competitive employment in the community.

Graham has been selected for the Transitional Employment position at the Goodwill in Murray! Graham has been out of work since January, and during that time he has been volunteering regularly in the Clubhouse work units utilizing the support of the Clubhouse to build his skills and his confidence so that he can reenter the workforce. This new position means a lot to Graham, as he explained, "I am super grateful for this opportunity and I can't wait to show Goodwill what I'm made of!" We are excited to see Graham flourish in his new role.

Sunny has been a member of Alliance House for over two years, but over the last seven months she has spent more time at the clubhouse working side by side with other members and staff building up her skills and her confidence. Sunny has not had a job for a few years and so she is excited to return to work with the support of the clubhouse as she starts her new transitional employment placement at Squatters in Sugarhouse. "I am proud of myself for never giving up and asking for help when I need it"
Congratulations to Sunny! We are so excited for you to take this next step!

We are deeply honored to highlight the Ruth Eleanor Bamberger and John Ernest Bamberger Memorial Foundation as an invaluable supporter of our mission. Since 1947, the Bamberger Foundation has been dedicated to fulfilling its founders’ vision of helping Utah youth and young adults reach their individual potential through education.

Because mental health challenges can often interrupt traditional schooling, this partnership serves as a vital bridge. Thanks to the Bamberger Foundation's crucial backing, our members are equipped with the resources necessary to navigate post-secondary education opportunities, get back on track with their studies, and successfully reintegrate into the wider community.

Alliance House would like to recognize First Electronic Bank for their support of Alliance House.

First Electronic Bank: “In the past few years, our commitment to community has gone beyond words – its measurable. Through partnerships, investments, and volunteer service, we’ve worked to create opportunities and strengthen the communities we serve. We want to thank them for all of their support of Alliance House, whether that is through sustainable funding, financial literacy, community reinvestment, and for introducing us to the wonderful Jacy, who served on our board.
