We loved seeing JFS’ Arts & Aging Coordinator, Emily Christensen, on FOX 13’s The Place yesterday, talking about the Kaleidoscope Festival!
Emily, who also serves as Director of the Utah Creative Aging Coalition, was joined by Cambia Health Foundation, and one of our favorite Arts & Aging artists and volunteers, Sonnie, to talk about how creativity supports social connection, emotional well-being, cognitive engagement, and even physical health.
Get Your Creative On: The Kaleidoscope Festival is a month-long and state-wide event for older adults throughout Utah. It kicks off on August 22 and and is free for those 55+. Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah's philanthropic and charitable arm, Cambia Health Solutions, is proud to support this important cause. 🎨👩🎨
