Our residents love teaching us their family recipes! Thank you for teach us your crab salad! It was delicious!!! Cooking is so good for us and it’s so important to learn processes and techniques to make healthy food for our bodies. 🦀

Who says exercise has to be using weights and a gym?! Give us some pool noodles and a big bouncy ball and we’ll get our workout in! Lots of fun and giggles, while working on our physical activity and team work!

We learned so much about the accordion today! Thank you to Steve who came and shared is knowledge and talents with us yesterday. We enjoyed every minute of your time! We love music in our building and what it does for our mental health, our ability to remember moments in our lives, and the ability we have to let go of our worries while we listen. We look forward to having Steve back into our building!

Nothing like a splash pad, blueberries and friends to fight this summer heat! Feeling the fountain on our fingers and toes, tasting the blueberries and smelling the fresh summer air helped us tap into our senses and allowed us to feel the joy that summer brings. ☀️

How lucky are we to have such multitalented CNAs?! We had our CNA Lucy come and teach us about sourdough bread. She taught us about patience through making a sourdough starter, shaping the bread dough, and waiting for it to bake. We learned that through patience and following precise directions, good things come! We enjoyed our delicious rosemary and sun-dried tomato sourdough so much! Thank you, Lucy!! 🍅🍞

We were able to go to This is the Place and learn a little more about the history of Salt Lake! We took the train around the property and the tour guide told us about all the interesting facts of the valley. Getting to get out of the building and learn new things makes for a great day here at Meadow Brook!

Gardener Village, fairies, and fudge! There’s no better combo! We loved searching for the fairies on the property and we even saw some farm animals, too (not pictured, unfortunately). We enjoyed some fudge by the water and even ventured into some cute shops! The weather was perfect, but the company was better. 🤍✨🧚🏼‍♀️🧚🏼🧚🏼‍♀️🧚🏼

Who knew using disposable smoothie bowls could make such beautiful fairy houses?! Happy International Fairy Day! ✨🧚🧚‍♀️ We love using our creative brains to bring everyday objects to life. Being creative and allowing our minds to wander into an exploratory state allows us to find new ways of thinking, new ways of seeing things, and new techniques to learn and add to our abilities.
