Dr. Rhonda Nelson was recently awarded a grant from the Academy of Health Science Educators (AHSE) for a project titled “Development and Validation of a Script Concordance Test for Recreational Therapy Education”.
A Script Concordance Test (SCT) is an assessment tool used in health professions education to measure clinical reasoning and decision-making under conditions of uncertainty. Instead of testing factual knowledge and/or confirming a single correct answer, a SCT uses clinical vignettes to evaluate how closely a student’s interpretation of clinical information and their corresponding decision making aligns with the judgement of an expert panel from the profession.
We look forward to updating you on this project as it evolves over the 2026-2027 academic year.
