Today I had the pleasure of meeting with my friend, David, to share with him the story of his great grandmother, Queenie Allnutt. She was an entertainer who toured through England and South Africa in a covered wagon with her husband, David (my friend's name-sake) and her acting company. David's grandfather had been always told that he was born in 1904 in that covered wagon outside of Cape Town and that his mother, Queenie, had died giving birth to him. I was able to uncover the truth that she actually died in London a few months later of pneumonia. What a cast of characters David's story includes and he was actually brought to tears as I revealed to him the stories of his ancestors. What an honor it was to be invited into his family! The greatest compliment I received was when he said to me, "I feel like I'm on an episode of "Finding Your Roots."

I will research your family back as far as I can ( usually at least 6 generations- often MUCH further), put together the story of your heritage and present it to you in a beautiful hard cover 12x12 color book. My going rate right now is $1200 for 100 hours of research and development, access to your full family tree online as well as a .pdf version and a ged.com file along with your beautiful book.
