Story pitches are now open for the 9th annual Healthcare Stories, coming to Kingsbury Hall on Feb. 11, 2027. This year's theme: Guts!

We're looking for stories from across the healthcare community—patients, family members, clinicians, staff, faculty, and students. Share a story of courage, humor, resilience, vulnerability, or the messy, meaningful experience of being human.

For years, Jody Hilton thought her ongoing stomach pain was just part of living with celiac disease. But a colonoscopy at age 50 revealed a massive precancerous polyp that could have led to a very different outcome.

Our Facilities Management teams are aware of and working on an issue with the chillers at our Farmington Health Center, resulting in high indoor temperatures.

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients, visitors, and team members, we will be closing the Farmington Health Center today and redirecting patients to our Redwood Health Center location, the nearest available facility.

Patients needing care may visit the following locations:

- Redwood Health Center: 1525 West 2100 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84119
- Sugar House Health Center: 1280 E Stringham Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84106
- University of Utah Hospital: 50 N Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84132, United States
- Virtual visits are also an option
