“It costs more money to run the pharmacy than what we were receiving back in reimbursements,” Moss said.

She closed up shop. Many customers tell her they now get their meds online, and the rest take a road trip to the nearest pharmacy, 18 miles away. The community, like many in Pennsylvania, became a pharmacy desert.

Matt Justus with Town Square Medical Pllc. will be here Tuesday (1/20), Friday (1/23), and Saturday (1-24) with his mobile clinic offering all of his normal services such as lab draw with point of care A1C lipids, urinalysis, strep, flu, COVID, 5 and 15 panel resp panels. He will be offering one exam room with full line services just like his home office! Come on by and see him💉💊🩺We will update with times soon!
