What a great thing the Girl Scout Troop 13162 from Saluda did for our residents! The girls worked on their silver award for our residents, turning an old pond into a wonderful garden! The Girl Scouts worked on their silver award and put in over 50 hours of service.

Everything was donated, and they did all the work with the supervision of their three Girl Scout leaders. Our residents loved talking to the girls and helping them decide what plants to buy and cheered them on. Thank you, Girl Scout Troop 13162, for the wonderful upgrade to our courtyard!

Our residents had a great time playing Battleship! We found this fun extra-large game of Battleship for the residents, and they decided to battle women against men. The women took no mercy!

We had such a great experience with our residents for our wet Wednesday here at Autumn Care of Saluda! Slip and sliding was a request from our residents, and we delivered. What a blast we all had! We had great teamwork with our staff, but a great shout-out to our Therapy team. Our therapy team and our Life Enrichment Department worked hand in hand for our residents to make this activity come true for them. We had residents that ranged from 70-100yeasrs old join in on the fun!

Summer is almost over and it's time to get our residents for the upcoming Fall season here at Autumn Care of Saluda.

We made some Rustic Wall Art with old jean pockets and a photo frame. Residents picked their fall flowers and arranged them to their liking.

Such great a great time and they even put them on their room walls to show off their craft to others.
