🎉 Magoffin County Founders Day Parade! 🇺🇸

The heat didn’t stop us from coming together to celebrate and watch the parade from the porch and sidewalk! We enjoyed seeing the rescue vehicles, pageant winners, churches, beautiful horses, and all the community spirit along the way. 🐴🚒👑⛪

And, of course, we collected plenty of candy and even more smiles! 🍬😊

So thankful for days like this that bring our community together and create memories to cherish. ❤️

🍦🚚 Ice Cream Truck Fun! 🍦

The ICE CREAM TRUCK made its way through the halls of Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation, and residents and staff alike couldn’t resist following that iconic sound! 🎶🍨

Smiles, laughter, and sweet treats filled the halls as everyone enjoyed a fun afternoon of ice cream and good memories. ❤️

A big THANK YOU to our amazing driver and delivery ladies for bringing the fun right to our door and making the afternoon so special! 🍦💙

Nothing beats a little ice cream and a lot of smiles! 😊🍨

Today we take time celebrate the retirement of our very own Janet! ❤️

For so many years, Janet has poured her heart into every meal she prepared from scratch for the residents at Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Her cooking has brought comfort, smiles, and countless happy memories—especially those famous soup beans that everyone looked forward to!

Today, Janet was showered with gifts from people all across the center, a small token of appreciation for the big impact she's made on so many lives over the years.

Janet, thank you for your hard work, kindness, and the love you put into everything you did. You have truly made a difference in the lives of our residents and staff.

We wish you nothing but happiness and relaxation in your retirement. Please come see us whenever you're close by—we'll always look forward to your visits. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. ❤️ Congratulations on this well-deserved new chapter!

Today, the residents and staff of Salyersville Nursing & Rehabilitation proudly dressed in pink in memory of the one and only Dolly Parton. 💖

As Dolly always said, **"If you see someone without a smile, give 'em one of yours."** 😊 After all, smiles are contagious, and a simple act of kindness can brighten someone's entire day.

Dolly was a champion of everyone, spreading love, hope, and joy wherever she went. Today, we celebrated her incredible life by sharing smiles, laughter, and a little pink in her honor.

Thank you, Dolly, for reminding us that kindness is always in style and that one smile can make all the difference. 💕

Our residents and staff recently enjoyed a lighthearted “How Do You Peel Your Banana?” survey, and the results sparked plenty of laughter and friendly debate! 🎉 Celebrating Tim’s Successful Discharge! 🎉

We are so proud of Timothy I. and the incredible progress he made during his stay at Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation! 💙

Tim came to us for wound care on his arm, and with the dedication of our Wound Care team, nurses, aides, and therapy staff, he was able to heal his wound, regain the use of his arm, and walk again with a walker when needed—things his family never expected him to be able to do!

Tim, along with his mom Fannie and sister Tina, shared:

“Good care, good people. I don't care a bit to recommend here to anyone.”

Tim also made special memories, including getting baptized while here and getting to know so many wonderful people.

His message says it all: “Go see for yourself at Salyersville. I recommend it!” ❤️

Congratulations, Tim! We are honored to have been part of your journey and wish you all the best at home! 🏡👏
