It’s easy to forget how much better you feel when you keep your body moving.

Nothing has to be intense or perfect. Sometimes it’s just going for a walk, riding your bike, stretching a little more, or getting outside instead of sitting all day.

Movement helps more than just your muscles. It can help with stiffness, tension, posture, energy levels, and even how your back and spine feel throughout the week.

If you’ve been looking at a phone or computer most of the day, your neck and shoulders have probably noticed too.

One simple habit that can help is the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. It gives your eyes a break, but it also helps remind you to reset your posture and release some of that built-up tension.

Little habits like that can go a long way when it comes to taking care of your spine throughout the day.

Sometimes it shows up as trouble sleeping, tension in your shoulders, lower back soreness, or just feeling worn out all the time. A lot of people get so used to pushing through discomfort that they stop noticing how tense their bodies have become.
