Pop quiz. What's your vitamin D level?

Not a range. Not a guess. Your actual number.

Almost nobody knows. And running low doesn't feel like anything in particular. It just feels like you, on a flatter battery.

Meanwhile, vitamin D touches more of your day than you'd expect. How your body uses calcium. How your immune system responds. How your muscles perform. How your mood holds up.

Your skin makes it from direct sun. But between office life, sunscreen, and the months when the Texas sun is something you escape instead of soak up, plenty of people never make enough.

Here's what we don't do: guess.

A quick lab test puts a real number on your level. If that number says you're low, a vitamin D shot delivers it intramuscularly, so your body absorbs it directly instead of depending on digestion.

Test first. Then act on what the number says. That's the whole philosophy.

Want your number? Message us, or bring it up next time you're in the lounge.

Everything on our menu answers to one physician. The standard he holds it to was his mother's before it was his.

That physician, A.D. Thakkar, M.D., serves as our Medical Director. Preventive medicine is his specialty.

Conventional care is organized around the complaint.

You bring a problem, the problem gets addressed, and nothing in that model asks what your body was short on in the months before it showed up.

His mother's approach ran in the other direction. Give the body what it's built to use, then let it do the work naturally, from the inside out.

Carrying that out is the goal he brought to medicine, and it's the test every protocol we offer has to pass before it's listed.

He'd add one more point, and most people get this one backwards.

What our generation files under non-traditional is usually older than the label.

In 1747, a ship's surgeon tested citrus fruit on sailors in what's generally counted as the first controlled clinical trial. The compound at work was vitamin C. Glutathione was first described in 1888. NAD+ was identified in 1906.

All three are on our drip menu, and the research behind each one is more than a century old. What changed is the route, the dose, and who reviews them.

In practice, it looks like this. Dr. Thakkar reviews every protocol before it goes on the menu.

Your consultation is with a licensed provider who goes over your history and the medications you take. A registered nurse administers your drip.

Lab work and genetic testing sit on the same menu as the drips, because preventive medicine begins with measurement.

You don't need a diagnosis to start this conversation. Ask about it on your next visit, and expect the long answer.

Odds are the first peptide you ever paid for came in a jar.

Serums, eye creams, shampoos. The word has been on beauty labels for twenty years, usually with nothing about whether it reaches the cells it's aimed at.

Here is the part the label leaves out.

The outer layer of your skin is built to keep things out. Dermatology has a working rule for it: compounds heavier than about 500 daltons rarely pass through in any meaningful amount.

Each amino acid adds roughly 110 daltons, so a chain of five is already past the limit.

Cosmetic chemists formulate around that. It's also why a peptide in a serum and a peptide in a clinical protocol are two different conversations.

Clinical beauty peptides are studied for the signaling behind three structures you look at every day.

Skin, where collagen makes up roughly 75 percent of the dry weight and is built by cells that act on signals.

Hair, where each follicle runs a growth cycle measured in years and takes its cues from chemical signals.

Fingernails, where new keratin forms at the base at about three millimeters a month.

None of that is a reason to buy a peptide. It is a reason to ask about one properly.

Here, the first step is a consultation: what you want to address, your medical history, what you currently take, and whether a beauty peptide belongs in your plan at all.

If one does, a licensed provider selects it, a licensed pharmacy prepares it, and your dose is set under physician oversight, with follow-up built in.

If your goal calls for something other than a peptide, you'll hear that plainly, along with what we'd suggest instead.

Peptember was built for this question. Skin, hair, or nails: if one is on your list, raise it at your next appointment or message us.

Expect a clear answer on what a beauty peptide can and can't do for you, and why.

Anyone who's put off starting a GLP-1 knows the next line...

After the holidays.

Or after the trip. After work settles down. After one more month of doing it the old way. The date moves. The decision doesn't.

The same week repeats. Same appetite, same afternoon energy, same number on the scale.

We're calling this the GLP-1 Kickoff, and it has one message. It's time to start your GLP-1 journey.

Starting doesn't mean the weekly shot on its own. That's the version most people picture, and it's incomplete.

A GLP-1 addresses appetite. Nutrient intake, energy, and fluid are separate questions, and all three change once you're eating less. Total weight loss support means each one is covered from the first week.

What that looks like here.

Other metabolic peptides, matched to goals beyond appetite: metabolic rate, body composition, steady energy while eating less.

Which one fits is a clinical decision made after your consultation, and a licensed pharmacy is the only source for the peptide itself.

Vitamin shots. IM Lean combines choline, inositol, methionine, B12, and taurine with no stimulants, done in minutes. B12 on its own when your energy drops before the scale does.

Hydration. Less food means less fluid, since a share of your daily water arrives with meals. The 100% Hydration IV is a full bag of Lactated Ringer's, fluid and electrolytes in one visit.

Everything begins with a consultation.

Your goals, your medical history, any current medications, and whether a GLP-1 is the right place to start.

Your starting dose is set there, under physician oversight, and a licensed nurse administers every weekly shot.

If it isn't the right fit for you, the consultation is where you'll hear that.

You've done the reading. The next step is a conversation. Book a consultation, or start with a DM.

The vial is the least important part of a peptide protocol. It's also the only part you can buy online.

Everything that decides whether the protocol is safe, and right for you, happens around that vial.

That is what medical oversight is. Not a signature on a form. A sequence of decisions, each made by someone licensed and accountable for it.

Here is the sequence when it's done properly.

Before anything is selected: a consultation with a licensed provider. Health history, current medications, what you're trying to change, and where warranted, baseline labs so the starting point is measured instead of assumed.

Selection: the peptide is matched to your goal and your history. Sometimes the right call is no peptide at all, and that answer is part of the service.

Sourcing: a licensed pharmacy supplies it and is accountable for what's in the vial and how much. An unregulated seller has no such obligation.

Dosing: set for you, in a range with a reason behind it, then held or changed based on how you respond. Nobody else's protocol is a template for yours.

Follow-up: your response is reviewed on a schedule. The plan has a defined end point, and the same team decides when you've reached it.

Throughout: a physician oversees the protocol, and every change to it is recorded in your chart, with a reason.

Remove any one of those steps and the protocol looks identical from the outside. Same vial. Same label. The difference is who's answerable when something needs to change, and with an online order the answer is nobody.

Peptember is the month for these questions. Ask what a consultation covers, what the baseline labs look for, or why a specific peptide might be off the table for you.

You'll get the reasoning, not a recommendation you have to take on faith.

A GLP-1 lowers your appetite. It does not lower what your body needs.

That gap is where most weight loss plans fall short.

Eating less means taking in less of everything, including the nutrients your metabolism runs on.

Protein intake slips, and lean mass tends to follow. Energy drops before the results show. Then the scale holds for three weeks with no explanation.

None of that means the prescription failed. It means the prescription was the only thing in the protocol.

Medical weight loss, done properly, covers all of it. The weekly shot is one line in the plan. The rest is built around how your body responds.

Start with peptides. A GLP-1 is a single entry on a longer list.

Different peptides are for different targets: appetite regulation, metabolic rate, recovery, body composition, sleep.

Which one belongs in your protocol is a clinical decision.

It follows a consultation and a review of your history and current medications, a physician oversees the prescription, and a licensed pharmacy supplies it.

Then the nutrient side, where clients feel the difference week to week.

NAD+ or B12 when energy drops faster than the scale.

The Metabolize IV, nine ingredients including B vitamins, amino acids, zinc, and magnesium.

IM Lean, the quick shot for days that have minutes to spare and not an hour.

What gets added depends on your history, what you take, and how you respond, not on a menu. Every one of them is nurse-administered.

If the number is moving and your energy is not, or the number stopped moving weeks ago, that's a data point worth bringing in. Book a consultation or send a message.

Expect a straight assessment. If something belongs in your protocol, we'll say so. If it doesn't, we'll say that too.

NAD+ loss with age is measurable, and the number is larger than most people expect.

In some studies, adults in their fifties carried close to half the levels of people in their twenties.

First, what it is and why the number matters.

That loss doesn't announce itself. It reads as workouts you recover from a day later than you used to, concentration that drops off after lunch, and mornings that take longer to get going.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is the full name.

Coenzyme is the category: a molecule enzymes need in order to function, and every cell you have relies on it.

Two of its jobs matter most here. It converts what you eat into usable energy. It also supports the enzymes that repair DNA.

Anything you swallow, food or supplement, passes through digestion before it reaches your cells.

An intramuscular shot skips that step. The dose goes into muscle tissue and absorbs from there, and the whole thing takes a few minutes.

Your September member perk is one of those shots. For free.

Who's eligible? Every active member.

What's included? One 25mg NAD+ shot. (Value: $65)

When? Any visit through September 30.

How? Say so when you check in. Nothing to enter, nothing to pay.

Want a larger dose? NAD+ is also available by IV over a longer session.

Our licensed nurses administer both, and our clinical team will tell you plainly which format matches your goals and how often it makes sense.

Haven't joined yet? Ask our team how membership works.

A new perk arrives every month, and this is September's.

Your liver clears roughly one standard drink per hour. Labor Day weekend rarely paces itself that way.

Tuesday is where it shows. Concentration drops, energy is flat by mid-morning, and a full workday expects full output anyway.

Here is what happened in between.

Alcohol suppresses vasopressin, the hormone that signals your kidneys to conserve water. Urine output rises, and magnesium and other electrolytes leave in that fluid.

Metabolizing the alcohol consumes B vitamins and produces oxidative stress, which your antioxidant reserves, vitamin C included, are left to handle.

Drinking water the next morning corrects the fluid.

It does nothing for the vitamins and minerals, and anything taken by mouth still has to pass through a digestive tract that alcohol has irritated, which can slow absorption.

Restoration IV is built for exactly this.

IV fluids with Vitamin C, Magnesium, B12, and B-Complex, infused directly into your bloodstream by our nursing team. Digestion is removed from the process, so absorption isn't the variable.

Timing is the part most people get wrong.

Before: a drip Friday or Saturday sets your baseline. You start the weekend hydrated, with magnesium and B vitamins at full levels rather than already depleted.

After: a drip Tuesday or Wednesday replaces what the weekend used in a single visit, not across several days of guessing.

A drip is not a strategy for drinking more. It's a recovery tool.

Eat before your first drink, alternate each drink with water, hold the pace close to one per hour, and arrange transportation in advance.

Drink responsibly. DRIP consistently.

Book your before drip this week and your after drip for Tuesday.

If your plans make the timing unclear, message us and we'll work it out with you.

Three days off. Recovery shouldn't take three more.

Long weekend plans tend to look the same. Sun, a cooler, a few drinks with people you like. Then Tuesday arrives and you feel it in your head, your stomach, and your energy.

Here's what's actually going on.

Alcohol is a diuretic. You lose fluids and electrolytes faster than you can drink them back. Processing it also draws on your B vitamins and magnesium.

So the next-day fog isn't bad luck. It's your body running short on fluids and vitamins.

That's why we say it the way we do:

Drink responsibly. DRIP consistently.

Especially before and after a day of drinking.

Before: get fluids and vitamins in ahead of time, so you start the day already hydrated.

After: replace what the weekend used up instead of waiting three days for it to pass.

Restoration is the one we'd point you to. Vitamin C, Magnesium, B12, and B-Complex, plus fluids, delivered straight into circulation. Your nurse handles the rest.

One more thing. A drip doesn't cancel out the drinks. So, from the people who'll see you Tuesday:

Pace yourself. Eat something real before the first one. Water between every round. Line up your ride before you need it.

Book one drip before the weekend and one after. Enjoy the middle.

09/04/2026

Somewhere around noon, your stomach will send a message to your brain, and lunch will suddenly sound like a great idea. The messenger is a peptide called ghrelin.

You didn't order it. Your body wrote it, sent it, and delivered it, the same way it handles thousands of chemical messages every single day.

Peptide is one of those words that sounds like it belongs in a biotech lab. In reality, it's biology's term for a small protein, a short chain of amino acids carrying instructions from one part of you to another.

The difference between the two is length. Keep the chain under about fifty amino acids and it's called a peptide. Build it longer and it earns the name protein.

Your body runs on these signals constantly: Hunger and fullness? Peptides talking. Glutathione, the antioxidant your liver produces daily? A peptide, three amino acids long. Even your tears carry protective peptides that help defend against germs.

None of this is fringe science. It's standard-issue human equipment.

Peptide therapy is built on that same signaling system. Medical-grade peptides from licensed pharmacies, selected for specific goals: steadier recovery, better sleep quality, weight loss support, healthier aging. Nothing is recommended until it's been reviewed against your health history by a licensed medical team.

Peptember rolls on. Keep the questions coming.
