Hi, I’m Daisy! The face (and doula) behind Mother Rucker’s Doula Services 🌼

Some days I’m elbow-deep in clay at my pottery wheel, some days I’m homeschooling two wild little boys, and every so often, I get the honor of being somebody’s calm in the room while they bring a baby earthside — something I’ve had the privilege of doing since 2023. ✨
I’m a military spouse with a herbs and homeopathy first lifestyle. 🌿
A few random truths about me: I birthed one of my babies in the trunk of my car, 6 minutes from the birth center (staying home next time, lol). I’m currently on a very serious hunt for the best matcha in town, and you’ll catch me supporting a local shop over a chain any day. 🍵
Just a few things that make me, me — a little crunchy, a little particular, and all in when it comes to the families I work with. Honest, gentle, zero judgment, and a whole lot of nourishment (cookies included). 🍪
I believe birth is sacred & informed consent is non-negotiable, and I’d love to hold space for your story too. Proudly rooted in the Texas Hill Country. 🤍

For many women, breech is presented as a problem with only one solution.

But in reality, there are providers trained in supporting physiological breech birth in certain situations.

Many home birth midwives have continued their education to carry skills that support the natural variations of birth.

If your only option is surgery, it may be time to ask yourself if you’re being told the entire picture.

Because some “emergencies” exist because the skill to handle them no longer does.
