To my patients, family, and friends:
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for trusting me with your eye care throughout the years. It is with a heavy heart; I have chosen to retire from the field optometry after 20+ years. Our last day was on March 31, 2023. This decision was not taken lightly as I have been honored to serve as an eye care professional for the communities of the hill country, my hometown of Del Rio, Texas and everywhere in between.
At this time, I would like to introduce Dr. Ervin Mendlovitz. He is a dear colleague of mine who will inherit your charts and prescriptions. Dr. Mendlovitz is the owner of In Focus Eyecare Center located near our office at 7213 Bandera Rd., Leon Valley, TX 78238. I am confident with his near 30 years of serving San Antonio as a therapeutic optometrist, excellent chair side manner, and professional staff, he will be ready to take care of your eye care needs. Please remember, even though you are not required to see Dr. Mendlovitz for your eye exams, I am confident if you give his office a chance, you will see why we chose him to continue your care.
My mission as an optometrist was simple, treat every patient like I would my own family. While I know no one is perfect, please believe me when I say, I strived for perfection in my office each and every day. I am very proud of how my staff and I served the city of San Antonio.
My last request as your eye doctor is: Don’t forget your yearly dilated eye exam, it may not only save your vision, it may just save your life.
