It is almost the 31st. You have no costume. You do, however, have a face.

Your plan this year was “tired.” We can work with that.

💚Green💚 The GlyMed Hydrating Enzyme Masque. You are Gamora, or Elphaba if you can hold a note. It is also breaking down dead skin the entire time you stand there being a Marvel character. Face paint has never once done that.

🫧Foaming🫧 The GlyMed Pore Masque. You are a perfect loofa, and more of you are going as a loofa than we expected. Unlike an actual loofa, this one is pulling buildup out of your pores, so your costume is working harder than you are.

☑️Pale and unsettling☑️ The Epicutis Sheet Masque. Michael Myers from across the room, deeply hydrated up close. The only horror costume that leaves your skin barrier better than it found it.

Every other costume tutorial this week involved a hot glue gun. Ours involves just your hands.

We are a day spa, not a costume shop. We did not plan this. The masques did it themselves. And now you have no excuse.

Most people do not know there is massage in a facial. 🧖🏼‍♀️

Hands on your face, your neck, and your shoulders for a good part of the hour. That is the part people remember afterward, and it is the part nobody puts on a menu.

If you have never had one, here is the whole hour. You lie down. We cleanse first, then warm towels come on to take the cleanser off and soften the skin, which makes everything after them work better. We exfoliate, then apply product chosen for your face rather than pulled off a shelf. Eminence, GlyMed, or Epicutis, picked for what your skin is doing that day. If your skin needs extractions and you want them, we do them. Say no and we skip it.

What you do not need is a plan. You do not have to know your skin type, what to book, or what any of the words mean. Tell us what bothers you and we build the hour around it.

Never had a facial? Say so when you book and we will plan the hour for a first time.

We are not saying you need five sprays. We are saying no one has ever stopped at one. And once you try it, you'll understand.

We carry three mists. They do three different jobs.

Stone Crop Hydrating Mist- The everyday one. Use it after you wash your face, over makeup when your face gives up around 2pm, or in the car after a day in Texas air.

Epicutis Hydrobiome Mist- For skin that reacts to everything. It feeds the good bacteria already living on your face, which is the part of your skin barrier nobody talks about. If you go red easily, this one is yours. Protect the barrier.

Shiitake and Ashwagandha Bi-Phase Mist- Shake it first. It is actually two layers. Built for skin that stares at a screen all day. Keep it on your desk.

One more thing, and it is the part most people miss. Mist first, then your serum. Damp skin holds it better. That is the whole trick.

The whole look. Your skin 🫶🫶🫶

Glow is not something we put on your face. It is something we uncover.

Dead skin sits on top in an uneven layer and scatters light. That is what dull actually is. Clear it off, light hits smooth skin, and you see the difference the same day.

Two ways we do it. A dermaplane uses a sterile blade to lift away dead skin and peach fuzz. An enzyme treatment uses fruit enzymes to dissolve that layer with no scrubbing at all. We only need an hour.

Here is the part worth more than the glow.

The serum you spent real money on has been sitting on top of that dead layer. Take the layer off and everything you apply after actually reaches skin. Your products get better and you buy nothing new.

Nothing to recover from either 🥳🥳🥳🥳

No peeling, no hiding, no weekend built around it. Go back to work, or to dinner, or to pick up your kid.

Cooler weather is the window, since there is less sun to plan around and results get to build on each other.

The light down low. A scent you chose on purpose. Nothing else in the room moved, and somehow the whole room is different.

That is where a moment starts.

Scent and light are the two things that change a space without you touching the furniture. Your nose catches it before your brain does, which is why it works on the night you were too tired to try. Dinner runs a little longer. Somebody stays on the couch instead of heading to bed. The room holds everyone for a few more minutes.

Soy wax, fragrance, dye. Nothing burns.

The warmer is a light, the shades can swap, so it looks like it belongs to you.

One chip lasts eighty hours.

And it happens to be the right gift for people you kind of like. Your kid’s teacher. The neighbor who pulls your trash cans in. The coworker in the gift exchange.
