It’s Chair Dancing Monday! 💃🕺🎶

Today our students got moving to a fun Latino playlist! They did an amazing job following directions, staying focused, and even singing along to a few of their favorite songs. 🎤❤️

Chair dancing is a great way to make fitness fun while encouraging movement, coordination, and healthy habits. Keep moving, keep smiling, and keep dancing! 💪😊

Our vocational class had another great community outing at Walmart! 💙 Our students put their work skills into action, taking on each task with enthusiasm and confidence. They love a challenge and continue to amaze us with their hard work, growth, and determination.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to attend the Parks & Recreation Chair Dancing class! Our students were excited to get moving, groove to the music, and show off their moves. ❤️

This fun activity helps our students practice following directions, staying with the group, focusing on each movement, and building confidence—all while having a great time!

☀️ It may be too hot to play outside, but that doesn’t stop the fun at One for Autism Academy! Our students are staying active and engaged with exciting indoor recess activities, including climbing, bouncing, and enjoying our giant trampoline. Happy Thursday! Today our vocational students had an exciting community outing to H-E-B, where they continued building valuable independent living skills. They practiced navigating the store, searching for items in different departments, following directions, working together, and showing patience every step of the way. It was wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they successfully completed each task.
We ended our day with a fun treat by making and enjoying delicious banana splits together. The smiles on their faces made it the perfect ending to a great day!
We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and determination. Keep working—you are all doing an amazing job! ❤️

Chair Dancing Monday! 💃🪑
It may be hot outside, but inside it’s the perfect place to dance! Our vocational students are enjoying Chair Dancing Mondays of our summer program, and what an incredible journey it has been.
Week after week, they continue to amaze us with their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication. From following directions and mastering new routines to encouraging one another and building lasting friendships, they are growing in so many wonderful ways.
We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, consistency, and positive attitudes. Watching their confidence shine a little brighter each week is truly the best part. Keep dancing, keep smiling, and keep believing in yourselves—you make us proud every single day!
