Today I’m celebrating my mom — one of the co-founders of Microtech Microscope Services — and reflecting on the incredible example she set through hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
Watching her and my dad build a business from the ground up taught me so much about commitment, integrity, and what it truly means to serve customers with care and excellence. The long hours, sacrifices, and passion she poured into the company helped create something that has positively impacted so many people in the science community.
I’m beyond grateful for the lessons she passed down to me, both in business and in life. Her work ethic and determination continue to inspire me every day as a business owner myself.
Thank you, Mom, for showing me what leadership, resilience, and heart look like.
Your legacy reaches farther than you probably realize. ❤️

Grateful for opportunities like this.
Today I had the privilege of working with a new customer in the science education community, helping bring advanced microscopy technology into the classroom and seeing firsthand the excitement it creates for students and educators alike. The ACCU-SCOPE Inc. EXC 123 dark field was the perfect piece of equipment for the job.
Moments like these remind me why I love being a business owner—serving people who are shaping the next generation of scientists, thinkers, and innovators is incredibly rewarding.
Thank you to our new customer for trusting us with classroom needs. We’re honored to play a small part in supporting science education and discovery.
Every microscope, every classroom, every partnership matters—and I’m deeply grateful for the chance to do work that makes a difference. 🔬💪

October was a great month for MicroTech! We received and serviced 5 new hospitals. We also got to meet one of Chad Potts’ amazing customers, Dr. Proffer, and set up her new microscopes. To end the month strong 💪, we got a new custom at UT Austin. They built their own microscope, and the halogen build was not producing a bright enough light, so we came onsite and converted it to an LED. If you're in the Texas area and need microscope service, preventative maintenance, repair, or are in the market to purchase new scopes, we want to help.

💥 If you are already a customer of ours we appreciate you and your business!!

My company was pleased to collaborate with ACCU-SCOPE Inc. in providing top-tier service to a customer in the Texas valley last week. Dr. Farley was thoroughly impressed with the caliber of service we delivered, which successfully restored functionality to her Olympus microscope's previously malfunctioning parts. The expertise and professionalism exhibited by Heston and Allen from Accu-Scope made the entire process effortless. ACCU-SCOPE's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is evident in their work. During our visit, we also successfully onboarded a new hospital client. Our dedication to serving Texas is personal, given our strong ties to the South Texas community. From growing up in San Antonio to enjoying the outdoors in South Padre Island, our connection to the region runs deep.

The presence of oil in the air at machine shops creates difficulties in maintaining cleanliness and preventing oil debris from entering microscopes and settling on prisms. At Microtech Microscope Services, we perform thorough microscope maintenance, checking every lens for clarity. While our manufacturing clients are typically serviced on a quarterly schedule, we can adjust our services to fit your budget. We also offer discounts for bulk services. Call us for a quote today!
