Our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is working alongside our resident to help improve strength, coordination, mobility, and independence with everyday activities. 🏋️‍♀️✨

Occupational Therapy can be especially beneficial for residents recovering from a hospital stay, surgery, injury, illness, or a decline in strength and daily functioning. Our therapy team is dedicated to helping residents regain confidence and work toward their highest level of independence!

At The Rio at Mission Trails, going above and beyond for our residents is what we do. Our Maintenance Director and Respiratory Director made the trip all the way to Houston to personally pick up Mr. Boris and safely bring him to The Rio so he could receive the care and support he needs.

This act of kindness is a beautiful example of compassion, teamwork, and dedication. From making sure his family felt comfortable with the transition to ensuring he arrived safely and was welcomed with open arms, our team truly showed what it means to care. 🫶
