It’s getting COLD in Texas! Make sure you are prepared!

The cold can make devices inoperable and insulin frozen, so wearing pumps and meters in a pocket close to your skin is an effective way to use your natural body heat to combat the cold. If you lose power and you have unused insulin, don’t throw it out. In an emergency, it is okay to use expired or non-refrigerated insulin.
