SLEW Cancer Wellness Center SLEW provides FREE emotional and physical support to uninsured women fighting cancer. SLEW Wellness Center (Support Lending for Emotional Well-being, Inc.)

The SLEW Wellness Center provides no-cost aftercare services to improve the quality of life for uninsured, underinsured and low income women recovering from and/or undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation treatments. The SLEW Wellness Center program offers a holistic package of FREE services. Our services are provided under one roof in a welcoming, caring setting. SLEW provides the most comprehensive program for after-treatment cancer care in the Bexar County area.

We had another successful Big Group Session this month! A huge thank you to Lisa Horst from Packard Law Firm for joining us as our guest speaker and educating our clients about their disability benefits. We’d also like to give a big shoutout to Beatriz Hernandez from the San Antonio Food Bank for leading an inspiring “Overcoming Challenges” session and preparing a refreshing minted watermelon & cucumber salad! 🍉🥒🌿
