For a long time, I thought the goal was to get my back stronger.
Looking back…
That was never the real goal.
🎯 The real goal was getting my life back.
Not by pretending I wasn’t scared.
Not by waiting until I felt 100% confident.
And not because everything suddenly felt easy.
Little by little, I stopped measuring success by how my back felt and started measuring it by how fully I was participating in my life again.
This hike wasn’t about hiking. 🥾
It was about freedom.
Maybe your version isn’t a hiking trail.
Maybe it’s playing with your grandkids.
Traveling.
Gardening.
Walking the dog.
Saying yes to something you’ve quietly been avoiding.
Whatever it is, don’t lose sight of the reason you’re working so hard to take care of your body.
The goal was never exercise.
The goal was always your life. 💫
💬 What’s one thing you want your body to help you do more of?
