Happy 4th of July, Pecan Valley family! 🇺🇸✨
​We had an absolutely spectacular Centennial Independence Day celebration, and the fireworks started early with a very special guest! We were absolutely thrilled to welcome the Mayor to Pecan Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare to celebrate with our amazing residents and hardworking staff.
​From sharing stories and laughter to enjoying some festive treats, it was a wonderful reminder of the incredible community we have right here in Pecan Valley. Our residents loved chatting with the Mayor, and the patriotic energy was off the charts! ❤️🤍💙
​A huge thank you to the Mayor for taking the time to honor our facility's milestone and bring so much joy to our home today.

👟 We’re Hitting the Pavement for District 3!
​Our team at Pecan Valley had an incredible morning supporting the community at the District 3 5K, hosted by Councilwoman Phyllis Viagran.
​Whether we were cheering from the sidelines, handing out snacks, or educating about our services, it was an honor to represent our residents and staff. We believe that staying active and staying connected is what makes our neighborhood so vibrant.
​A huge thank you to the Councilwoman’s office for organizing such a fantastic event and to everyone who stopped by our booth to say hello!

Music is the best medicine for the soul 🥁🪘🪇

​Yesterday we visited our Wheatly friends again, this time with group music therapy!
In senior living, we talk a lot about "care"—but care isn't just about medication and meals. It’s about feeding the spirit.
​There is a unique healing that happens when we gather and let the music take over. It bridges the gap between the past and the present. It turns strangers into friends. It reminds us all that no matter our age, we still have a song to sing.
​So grateful for these moments of connection, laughter, and beautiful noise. This is what it’s all about.

Look who decided to take a break from the toy workshop to visit his favorite people at Pecan Valley! 🎅🎄
​Our staff and residents are officially on the "Nice List" this year (well, most of us 😉). We had a blast catching up with St. Nick and getting into the holiday spirit.

Thank you to the Whitley Senior Apartments for allowing us to host a bingo. This competitive bunch definitely kept us on our toes! We can't wait to come back! 🥰
