They provide many wonderful resources to the San Antonio community and right now, they need our help. They are preparing to move into a permanent home and are asking for financial contributions to help with the costs of the move. This summer come escape the heat ☀️ with Alexis as she starts her new group! Comfort in Community- an in-person social support group for q***r young adults who want to build a community without all the pressure of meeting organically IRL. During our meetings, we will focus on connection and engage in fun crafts and activities. Our group meets on Fridays at 12:00 in-person. There is a $20 charge per meeting. If you are interested or have questions, please reach out!

Alexis had the privilege to hear .walssbass speak about her upcoming book at yesterday. Dr. Walss Bass provides unique insight and lived experience about genetics and environmental factors, how they interact for individuals with schizophrenia and how the diagnosis can have a ripple effect through the entire family system. At Acquiring Hope, we are eagerly awaiting Dr. Walss Bass’ book and the implications it might have for our work with family systems.

Trans Legal Aid Clinic of Texas helps trans and non-binary folxs navigate changing their IDs and navigate the complexities of our state's legal system.

Thrive Youth Center

Thrive Youth Center is a shelter for LGBTQ+ young adults who are facing homelessness.
