Monday Prayer to La Santa Muerte
Santísima Muerte,
Lady of the quiet road,
Walk beside me at the start of this week.
Clear confusion from my mind,
Remove hidden enemies from my path,
And expose deception before it reaches my home.
Where there is fear, bring me composure.
Where there is weakness, build discipline.
Where there is chaos, place your steady hand.
Protect my children,
Protect my work,
Protect the doors I walk through and the name I carry.
If envy watches me, blind it.
If harm approaches me, turn it away before it arrives.
If I am making poor choices, force me to see them clearly.
Holy Death,
Teach me patience without passivity,
Strength without cruelty,
And wisdom without pride.
May my actions this week produce stability, provision, and peace.
May my candle burn clean before you,
And may my gratitude remain sincere whether times are easy or difficult.
I walk with respect,
I walk with awareness,
And I walk under your shadow.
