As we gear up for CNA Week starting tomorrow, we are feeling extra grateful for our wonderful healthcare partners who always step up to help us celebrate the incredible CNAs of Colonial Pines! 💙
We have a fabulous week of treats planned, and it wouldn't be possible without the support of these amazing community partners. Thank you for helping us show appreciation to the compassionate caregivers who make a difference in the lives of our residents each and every day.

And from the Wellness Department, we have organized this week for you guys and want to say a special thank you to each and every CNA. We recognize that you are the first smiles our residents see each morning, helping them get dressed, ready, and prepared for a wonderful day ahead. You set the tone for their day, and because of your kindness, patience, and care, our residents arrive at activities happy, comfortable, and ready to participate. We truly appreciate all that you do and the love you pour into our residents each day. 💙

We wrapped up our celebration with a fun-filled day of donut-themed activities! From a donut photoshoot and Donut Bingo to our Pathways Memory Care ladies designing some of the prettiest donuts you've ever seen, there was plenty of laughter, creativity, and sweet memories made along the way.
It was the perfect way to celebrate National Donut Day with our friends. Smiles were abundant, imaginations were flowing, and everyone had a "hole" lot of fun! 💕🍩

We celebrated this sweet holiday with our friend Sharon from Hospice in The Pines! She stopped by to share information about the wonderful services her company provides, lead us in a fun game of trivia, and of course... bring some delicious donuts! 😋

There’s just something special about donuts and trivia with Sharon. The laughs, friendly competition, and sweet treats always make for a great time! Our residents did so, so good cycling this morning that we decided to treat them to a pizza party for all of their hard work! 🍕🚴
These friends of ours never cease to amaze us with their determination, perseverance, and willingness to keep going no matter the challenge. With every push of the pedal, you could see just how hard they were working to make it to the finish line. Their dedication and effort were truly inspiring!
We are so proud of each and every one of them. After all that hard work, a well-deserved pizza party was the perfect way to celebrate their accomplishments! Way to go, friends—you earned it! ❤️

With the help of virtual travel, our residents enjoyed the sights and sounds of the California coastline while getting in a little exercise along the way. Who says you have to leave home to go on an adventure? From sandy shores to ocean views, we had a wheel-y good time exploring together! 💙🌴🏖️

🚲 Today is World Bicycle Day! 🚲
We brought out our bikes and even borrowed a couple from our friends in the Rehab Pro Therapy Department and took off on an adventure! Our residents enjoyed a virtual bike ride along the beautiful beaches of California, soaking in the scenery while keeping their bodies moving and active.
Cycling is a great way to improve strength, endurance, circulation, and overall well-being—and most importantly, it's a whole lot of fun! Thank you to our Rehab Pro Therapy Department for helping make today's ride possible. We had a wheel-y good time! ☀️🌊🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

It was a “Celebration of Our Senses” during Sensory Works this morning with our Pathways Memory Care ladies! 🌹👃👋👂👀
We spent time exploring all five senses through a variety of hands-on experiences. Our ladies enjoyed smelling fresh roses, different essential oils, and even cooking vanilla, which sparked sweet memories of baking in years past. They explored a variety of textures, listened to familiar sounds, and engaged in meaningful conversations as each sensory experience brought back memories and encouraged connection.

A huge thank you to our Wellness Assistant Renee for creating such a fun and engaging sensory experience! Our ladies stayed happily occupied for quite some time as they explored, reminisced, and enjoyed all things sensory.
