Sometimes God reminds us why He calls us to step out in faith.

Today, He did just that.

Our new Moreno Valley Life Choice Pregnancy Center is still under construction. The walls are being torn down and rebuilt, painted, equipment is being installed, and we're working hard to open our doors as quickly as possible.

Yet before we are even open...

A mother, her teenage daughter, and a young man who had come with them walked into our clinic.

They weren't looking for construction crews. They were looking for the abortion pill.

Even though our center isn't open yet, I welcomed them with compassion. I listened, answered their questions, and shared as much life-affirming information as I could in the small amount of time I had a listening ear. They left knowing there were people ready to walk alongside them, not with judgment, but with love.

As they walked out, I couldn't help but think:
If people are already coming to our doors before we've officially opened, how many more are waiting for us?

It was a powerful reminder that God is already drawing hurting families to this place.

We believe He has ordained this building for a greater purpose. What was once known as a place where lives ended will become a place where lives are rescued, families are strengthened, hope is restored, and the love of Jesus Christ is shared.

Every day this clinic remains unfinished is another day someone may not find the help they desperately need.

That is why I'm asking for your help today.

Your gift will help us complete the renovations, furnish our medical rooms, purchase the remaining equipment, and open our doors as quickly as possible so that every woman who comes seeking help finds hope instead.

The Lord reminds us in Isaiah 58:10:
If you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night

There are moments when you sense God is opening a door that only He can open.

When I first learned that the former Planned Parenthood building in Moreno Valley had become available, I immediately felt the Lord stirring my heart. I knew this was more than a real estate opportunity. I believed God was providing an opportunity for Life Choice to establish a ministry of Life in a place that had once represented Death.

As I stood in front of the building, I couldn't help but think about God's promise in Genesis 50:20:
"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good."

What was once a place associated with abortion can become a place where women encounter truth, love, hope, compassion, where babies are given a chance at life, where fathers are equipped to lead their families, and where the love of Christ is shared every day.

We are calling this campaign:
REDEEMING GROUND

Transforming a Former Planned Parenthood into a Place to Rescue, Redeem and Restore.

What makes this opportunity even more significant is that Planned Parenthood's new facility is located directly behind this building. While they continue their mission, we will continue ours, to Rescue, Redeem and Restore through the hope and love found in Christ.

We believe every woman deserves to know she is not alone.

We believe every father deserves encouragement and support.

We believe every child is created in the image of God and has immeasurable value and worthy of protection.

And we believe God can redeem even the most unlikely places for His purposes.

For more than 50 years, Life Choice Pregnancy Centers have served women and families throughout our communities. Last year alone, we provided nearly 1400 ultrasounds, 1450 pregnancy tests, dozens of parenting education opportunities, countless material resources, and have added 62 new names to the Lamb's book of Life.

Now we have the opportunity to expand our mission into Moreno Valley.

To open the doors, prepare the facility, furnish counseling and education rooms, equip medical spaces, and begin serving clients, we must raise $250,000.

The Apostle Paul reminds us:
"He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully." (2 Corinthians 9:6)

Today, two moms walked through our doors facing very difficult decisions… and today, both chose life for their babies.
