For the Culture 🤎
Congratulations to Kameirah Johnson, the 2026 Doodle for Google winner, for using her art to celebrate the beauty, history, and power of Black hair.
Her winning piece reminds us that our crowns carry more than style — they carry legacy, resilience, creativity, and generations of love. Too often Black children are asked to shrink themselves and Kameirah chose to create something that does the opposite: Her art takes up space, honors identity, and tells young Black girls that they are already enough.
Our children deserve to see themselves reflected as innovators, artists, leaders, and change makers. Kameirah's achievement is a reminder that when young people are given the opportunity to dream boldly, their gifts can inspire the world.
We celebrate you, Kameirah. Thank you for showing us that our superpowers are often found in the very things that make us who we are. 👑✨
