THE FLEA MARKET OF CATANIA (Part 2): EVERY OBJECT HAS A STORY

One of my favorite places to explore in Sicily is the Catania Flea Market. Beyond the antiques, it’s a place that reminds me of one of the most important teachings in my Italian and Sicilian esoteric tradition:

Discernment.

Every object has a history. Some have witnessed joy, others sorrow. Whether you see that spiritually or simply appreciate the stories they carry, I always encourage learning about an item’s past before bringing it into your home.

One of the treasures I found was an old coffee grinder. While it was mainly used to grind coffee, in my tradition it also symbolizes transformation. Just as hard coffee beans become smooth powder, it represents breaking down life’s obstacles and making difficult situations easier to overcome.

I also found several pairs of old scissors. In my tradition, they symbolize cutting energetic cords, unhealthy attachments, and situations that no longer serve us.

Another fascinating piece was a charcoal iron. Besides ironing clothes, families traditionally used it to warm wool that was placed on the chest or back of someone suffering from respiratory illnesses. In my family’s tradition, the iron also symbolized making things straight—restoring honesty, clarity, and balance.

Finally, I always encourage understanding the history behind masks and statues before bringing them home. Sometimes knowledge is the greatest form of protection.

The greatest treasure at a flea market isn’t the object…

It’s knowing which one belongs with you.

LILITH: THE MOTHER MOST PEOPLE MISUNDERSTOOD

For a period of my practice, many of my students began asking me about Lilith.

Who is she? Why do so many fear her? Why do others seek her for justice or revenge?

Instead of accepting other people’s opinions, I wanted to understand this archetypal current through my own spiritual practice.

In my Italian esoteric tradition, Lilith is one expression of the Divine Mother. Every current of the Mother has a different purpose. Some nurture, some heal, some protect, and some dismantle what no longer serves so balance can return.

To us, there is no good or evil current—only different functions within creation.

One lesson became very clear.

Lilith is often misunderstood.

Many approach her asking for revenge.

But a Mother doesn’t exist to satisfy our anger.

A Mother disciplines.

She restores balance.

Justice is not revenge.

Justice is recalibration.

When you sincerely ask for the help of a current like Lilith, everyone involved is invited to face the truth—including yourself.

This is why I encourage my students to seek truth before punishment and transformation before vengeance.

Lilith is only one name. Across cultures we find figures such as Kali, Sekhmet, The Morrígan, and aspects of Hecate. While each belongs to its own tradition, many practitioners recognize similar archetypal qualities of fierce protection, justice, and transformation.

Names change.

The current remains.

MONREALE: THE LIVING MANDALA OF SICILY

There are places built to impress the eyes.

And there are places designed to awaken something much deeper.

For me, Monreale is one of those places.

Most visitors admire its breathtaking mosaics and shimmering gold, but when I walk through Monreale, I see something else entirely: sacred geometry.

Across many ancient cultures—from the Hindu tradition to the Mediterranean world—geometry has been used as a language to express the hidden principles of creation. Circles, stars, mandalas, and repeating patterns were not created only for beauty; they were designed to harmonize the mind with deeper currents of existence.

One of the most fascinating examples is the Yantra. In the Hindu tradition, a Yantra is more than a symbol. It is considered a living geometric expression of a current of consciousness—a way of embodying and channeling a specific aspect of creation.

When I look at Monreale through the lens of my Italian and Sicilian tradition, I recognize a similar principle. The endless geometric patterns and intertwined mandalas create an energetic landscape that, to me, resonates with the primordial currents of the Mother and the Father. The Mother is the force of life, nourishment, manifestation, and creation. The Father is awareness, structure, direction, and consciousness. Where these two currents meet, creation unfolds.

Another detail that fascinates me is the presence of the two great pipe organs, placed in perfect symmetry. Geometry is vibration made visible, while music is vibration made audible. Together, architecture and sacred sound transform Monreale into what feels like a living instrument for consciousness.

To me, Monreale is more than a cathedral.

It is a living mandala where stone, sound, and sacred geometry become one.

THE ENERGETIC PATTERN THAT DESTROYS MANIFESTATION

One of the biggest reasons I see people struggle to manifest isn’t because they aren’t spiritual enough.

It isn’t because they don’t know enough techniques.

It’s because they’re living with what I call the energy of the beggar.

Many of my clients come to me wanting more money, healthier relationships, a better career, or greater happiness. They ask me to identify energetic blockages, shadow selves, trauma, and limiting beliefs.

Over the years, I’ve noticed that many of these struggles are rooted in one pattern:

Scarcity.

Scarcity isn’t just about money.

It’s believing:

“I’m not enough.”

“There won’t be enough for me.”

“I have to settle.”

“I can’t leave because I need this.”

These beliefs quietly shape your choices, relationships, career, and ultimately your reality.

One of the most powerful questions I ask my clients is:

If you had all the money in the world, what would you stop tolerating?

Who would you stop spending time with?

What job would you leave?

What relationship would you finally walk away from?

Most people answer within seconds.

Those answers reveal where your power is still tied to fear, obligation, or survival.

To me, manifestation isn’t about positive thinking.

It’s about becoming honest enough to recognize where you’ve given your power away.

That’s why my manifestation program combines shadow work, trauma integration, energetic realignment, and practical strategy. Because no manifestation technique can truly change your life if the part of you making decisions still believes it has to survive instead of thrive.

When your inner world changes…

Your choices change.

Your boundaries change.

Your standards change.

And eventually…

Your reality changes too.

THE SANCTUARY OF SAINT ROSALIA

One of the most sacred places in Palermo is the Sanctuary of Saint Rosalia, built around the cave where, according to tradition, her remains were discovered in 1624. After her relics were carried through Palermo during a devastating plague, the city attributed its liberation to her intercession, and she became Palermo’s beloved patron saint.

Many devotees walk up Mount Pellegrino, some even barefoot, as an act of devotion before entering the sanctuary.

Inside, you’ll find beautiful silver ex-votos shaped like eyes, legs, hearts, breasts, kidneys, children, and other body parts. These are offerings left by people who believe they received healing or another grace through Saint Rosalia’s intercession.

You’ll also see the books of prayer, where pilgrims continue to leave their intentions, the relics of the saint, and the natural spring that still flows inside the cave. In my Italian and Sicilian tradition, this sacred water represents the life-giving feminine current of Creation and is still used in traditional devotional practices.

Some visitors also describe smelling the delicate fragrance of flowers inside the cave, a phenomenon long associated in local tradition with the discovery of Saint Rosalia’s remains.

At the end of the video you’ll see the beautiful golden statue of Saint Rosalia, reflecting centuries of love, gratitude, and devotion from the people of Palermo.
