They Came for a Spa Day… and Left Wanting to Move Back to San Diego! 🥹❤️

Today, we welcomed the sweetest young couple visiting San Diego.

A friend had recommended Forest House SPA after having an amazing experience with us. So they decided to come and try our massage and wellness treatments for themselves. 🌿

The funny part?

One of them told us they had lived in San Diego for 5–6 years and never knew about our little hidden gem!

After their experience, they were so happy and relaxed that one of them even joked about moving back to San Diego just to visit us again! 😂❤️

Moments like these mean so much to us.

At Forest House SPA, it’s never just about a massage.

It’s about slowing down, enjoying thoughtful care, and feeling truly relaxed from head to toe.

From Massage and Head Spa to Facial Care and our signature Full Body Reset, we want every visit to feel special. 🤍

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who shares our spa with friends and loved ones.

5-Minute Scalp Reset 🌿
An Eastern Wellness Combing Ritual

Caption

Your daily hair brushing can become more than just fixing your hair. 🌿

In Eastern wellness traditions, gentle scalp stimulation has long been used as part of a relaxing self-care routine.

Try this simple 5-minute scalp reset:

• Start at the front hairline and gently comb toward the back
• Divide the scalp into sections instead of brushing one path repeatedly
• Spend a little extra time around the crown, temples and back of the head
• Keep the pressure gentle — it should feel relaxing, never painful
• Avoid aggressive brushing when the hair is very wet
• Choose a wide-tooth comb with smooth, rounded edges
• 3–5 minutes is enough

The goal isn’t to brush harder or longer.

It’s to slow down, release tension and pay attention to how your scalp feels.

At Forest House SPA, our Eastern Wellness Head Spa combines scalp cleansing, head massage, neck & shoulder relaxation and calming rituals designed to give your mind and body a true reset.

📍 Escondido

Save this for your evening self-care routine. 🌿

Scalp brushing is a general wellness practice and is not a treatment for hair loss or scalp disease.

Today, four sisters came in together for a spa day. 💆‍♀️💆‍♀️💆‍♀️💆‍♀️

They originally booked massages for everyone — but once they arrived, they asked if they could each choose something different.

Of course. 🤍

One chose a massage.
One wanted stronger, deeper pressure.
One chose lymphatic massage.
And one decided on a Head Spa.

That’s what we love about a spa day at Forest House SPA:

You can come together without having to choose the same service.

Maybe your friend needs a massage.
Maybe you’ve been wanting to try a Head Spa.
Maybe someone else wants a Facial.

Everyone has different needs — and everyone can choose their own way to relax.

✨ Massage
✨ Head Spa
✨ Facial
✨ Body Reset

Professional care, multiple choices, one relaxing spa day together.

Why does our Head Spa preparation start hours before your appointment? 🌿

Because our herbal infusion is slowly prepared for 2+ hours before it becomes part of your Head Spa experience.

Warm herbal water flows gently through the scalp while our Eastern-inspired scalp techniques help you slow down, release tension, and enjoy a deeply relaxing reset.

It’s not just a hair wash.
It’s the preparation, the ritual, and the care behind every step. ✨

Modern stress doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like a tight scalp.
A stiff neck.
Clenched shoulders.
A busy mind that never really switches off.

We spend hours looking at screens, answering messages, solving problems, and thinking about what comes next.

Over time, stress can show up physically — especially around the head, jaw, neck, and shoulders.

That’s why relaxation isn’t only about “doing nothing.”

Sometimes it’s about creating enough quiet for your body to stop bracing.

Close your eyes.
Slow your breathing.
Release the tension you’ve been carrying.

When the body begins to soften, the mind finally gets a chance to slow down too.

Studying anatomy changed the way I look at Head Spa. 🧠✨

Recently, I’ve been learning more about the brain, the central nervous system, sensory nerves, and how much information our brain is constantly receiving and processing.

And it made me understand Head Spa from a completely different perspective.

A Head Spa isn’t just about washing your hair.

Gentle scalp massage, warm water, rhythmic touch, aroma, sound, and a quiet environment all create a sensory experience that can help the mind and body slow down.

Sometimes we don’t need more stimulation.

We need a quieter moment.

That’s what I love about Head Spa — creating a space where you can simply close your eyes, breathe, and reset.

You can stop working and still not feel off.

Your body is sitting down, but your mind is still answering messages, thinking about family, planning tomorrow, and carrying everything that comes next.

Sometimes rest isn’t more sleep.

Sometimes it’s having an hour or two where nothing is expected from you.

No decisions.
No rushing.
No taking care of everyone else.

Just time to breathe, let go, and reset.
