Caring for a parent from across the country is hard. You want to be there, but you can’t always get on a plane.

That’s where we come in. Christina’s mom was recently hospitalized, and our team jumped in right away to get her set up with care at home. Now her mom has a caregiver she adores (hi, Charlotte! 👋) and Christina can breathe a little easier.

Saturday, our Visiting Angels Greater San Diego team joined the Alzheimer's Association San Diego/Imperial and supporters from across the county to help end Alzheimer's. 💜

It was a day full of heart. We shared local resources with families living with dementia and Alzheimer's, met so many caregivers and loved ones who inspire us, and connected with community partners who do this work alongside us every day. Even 100° temps couldn't slow this crowd down!

Thank you to the Alzheimer's Association San Diego/Imperial for bringing everyone together, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello.

Today, on World Alzheimer’s Day, we’re taking a moment to recognize the millions of individuals and families navigating life with Alzheimer’s.

Behind every statistic is a person with a story, a family finding its way through change, and a caregiver offering patience, compassion, and support along the journey.
