We’re excited to be part of the Back to School Pow Wow Dance Workshop, hosted by the San Diego Unified School District Indian Education Program in partnership with the Southern California American Indian Resource Center (SCAIR).

Thank you to the San Diego Unified School District Indian Education Program for inviting the San Diego American Community Health Center to join this special evening celebrating Native youth, families, and community. We look forward to sharing an evening of traditional dancing, live drum music, a community potluck, and school supply giveaways as we welcome the new school year together

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 Gathering of Native Americans (GONA).
Over the weekend, community members, youth, families, Elders, facilitators, and partners came together to strengthen connections, share experiences, and support one another through culture, wellness, and community.

Throughout the gathering, participants had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, cultural activities, and shared learning that celebrated resilience, healing, and the strength of our community. GONA continues to provide a welcoming space where relationships are built, voices are heard, and traditions help guide us toward a healthier future.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this year's GONA such a meaningful experience. We are grateful to share this journey with our community and look forward to gathering again next year.
