"Our goal is to help people get back to living their lives," says Alexander Gopez, a physical therapist specialist at Sharp Rees-Stealy Kearny Mesa.

"The more closely we can recreate real-world situations in a safe environment, the more prepared patients are to navigate those situations at home and in their communities."

At Sharp Rees-Stealy, physical therapists use a specialized support system called Solo-Step to help patients safely practice everyday movements while building strength, balance and confidence.
