This past week, we officially completed our move into our new office on Orange Avenue, and we’re excited to finally welcome you to our new home in the heart of Coronado.

Our new location offers a warm, private and comfortable setting designed around the patient experience β€” while continuing the personalized care and attention our patients have come to expect.

Just like our prior office, our new Coronado location features a fully accredited, office-based surgery center, allowing our surgical patients the privacy and convenience of having their procedure performed within our own practice.

A beautiful new setting. The same commitment to exceptional care and natural results.

We’re excited to begin this next chapter and look forward to welcoming you to Coronado.

Revision rhinoplasty is some of the most demanding work in facial plastic surgery. These patients have usually been through a prior operation that didn't meet their goals, so trust has to be rebuilt before anything else.

I recently received a review that captures what I believe revision care should look like: listening carefully, setting realistic expectations, and staying committed for the long term β€” including follow-up consultations at no additional cost, and a piezo refinement to address a final detail until the result was genuinely right.

Restoring both function and confidence after a difficult revision is a privilege, and it's the standard I hold for every patient.

She waited years for this.

Not because she was unsure β€” because life kept coming first. That's the version of this story nobody posts. Most rhinoplasty content features someone in their twenties. Plenty of my patients are decades past that, and they arrive having thought about it longer and more carefully than anyone.

Two things, one operation: the tip was lifted, and the hump along the bridge was brought down. Together they change the entire profile β€” a nose that finally matches the face it's on.

This is the result on the table. The tip is still swollen and will keep refining for months. But you can already see it.

It is never too late to do something for yourself.

No hammer. No chisel.

Traditional rhinoplasty shapes the nasal bones with a mallet and an osteotome β€” controlled, effective, and exactly as blunt as it sounds. Piezo is different. Ultrasonic energy cuts bone and leaves soft tissue untouched, which means the bone can be sculpted millimeter by millimeter instead of broken and reset.

This patient needed a significant amount of bony work. Watch how the bone is shaped rather than fractured β€” that's the entire advantage, and it's why the tissue around it stays so quiet.

Precision over force. Every time.

Refined β€” not erased.

The most important thing in ethnic rhinoplasty is what you *don't* change. This patient came in with a wide, poorly defined tip and one clear wish: more definition, without a nose that looked like it belonged on someone else's face. Ethnic noses come with their own anatomy β€” thicker skin, softer tip cartilage, a broader shape β€” and refining that tip takes a completely different technique than a thin-skinned nose. Done right, the result isn't a "new" nose. It's a more defined, more balanced version of the one she already had. As if she was born this way.

A few millimeters. That's the whole story.

People assume a great rhinoplasty means a dramatic change. Often it's the opposite. Here, the tip was lifted slightly and brought in just a touch closer to the face β€” and that small, precise move rebalanced the entire profile and softened her whole appearance. No overcorrection. No "done" look. Just a nose that finally fits the face it's on.

The art of rhinoplasty lives in the millimeters.

Nose. Jawline. Neck. One surgery.

The nose is the center of your face β€” change it, and you change how everything around it reads. That's why I often refine the nose, midface, jawline, and neck in a single procedure. Done together, done with restraint, it reads as one balanced face β€” not three operations. The goal is never to look like someone else. It's to look like you, in balance.

The biggest fear with a brow lift? Looking surprised. But lifting "as high as possible" was never the goal β€” balance is. This patient was bothered by a brow that sat lower on one side. Months later: even, natural, and not a millimeter too high. Symmetry you notice, surgery you don't.

A droopy tip isn't always "too big." More often, it's about where the tip sits β€” and knowing exactly where to set it. In a teenager, the art is support and placement, so the result still looks natural decades later.
